But they're something we're working on for both DUST 514 and Project Legion and would love to implement in to DUST 514 as a content patch if possible. If it helps there was a posting that basically said no client side updates. So pretty much no new anything in the game. |

You know that old adage that goes "hope for the best but prepare for the worst". It wasn't made out of a grumpy sentiment but the reality that companies can make horrible choices and calls with little feedback and relevance to the market it's catering too. |

I think he's talking about introducing them in the short term. If it's not possible to introduce them this year, then you have to wait until next year. Essentially it would be on the back burner. If you think that's too long, try being in my shoes having to wait for a door that was introduced in 2011 but never opened since then. Some of you know what I'm talking about.

Nobody has to listen to you. We can complain all we want because the people that are positive about legion are ones that play other games on their PC. Us who play dust are usually the ones who come home from work play a bit of dust on the console and than go to bed and repeat.
PC players (like yourself if you are positive about legion) are the ones who sit at the computer for hours a day playing trying to be the best.
So STFU and how about youuu gtfo ?

If it goes to ps4 then the console guy would get hot fixes and content 3 months later than the PC players.
Its far more realistic to hope for dust on the ps4.

Why did you act like we could get the new weapons and then immediately contradict that statement? CCP isn't going to spend anymore money than they "have" to on this game. A patch costs you money, something you don't want to spend. The only reason you are getting paid is because you are needed for Legion. If you end up on this part of the forums, CCP takes the loss in stride (which I appreciate).
I 'support' EVE:Legion. Since the PS4 is just a dream, make it easy to sell our characters and our Beta access...

It isn't. About the most productive thing I can do is log on the forums and grumble about the status quo. That's pretty sad. I understand where you're coming from and your frustration. But, grumbling about the status quo isn't productive. Constructive feedback on the changes players would be interested in seeing, is. I'm hoping with the DUST news coming later this week you'll have a better context of what kinds of things we're looking at improving.
But CCP's way of improving apparently is "Legion" which cuts out all console players. You can't truly expect constructive feedback on a game that is on it's deathbed. You can't "improve" what your going to end.

What about Salvage Sellback ?
If we were able to sell Salvaged items back to the market at 50% value that would go a long way to help ... and it should be a much simpler implementation than player trading or open market, you just need to add a sellback feature to the current market.

We are pessimistic. Absolutely. Why wouldn't we be? We have remained hopeful all this time and faithfully kept with the game due to what we thought were promises of improvement, only to find that our beloved Dust would never be what it should have, and that a new game on a new platform would instead be that game. It's simply the last straw.
As for the hate, I think it isn't even originating from CCP for the most part. I think that this game just breeds hate. I've never wished death on so many people before, let alone due to something as ridiculous as a video game. The entire EVE community and the games that CCP produces in and of themselves reward being a **** and discourage just having simple fun and enjoying one's self. I play games in order to get away from cruel reality, not to be drawn into a different version of it. Assholes win and everyone else loses is an awful philosophy.
And yet, the game still has its enjoyable matches and a flexibility that make it worth the hassle some times.
All that said, I still hate most of you and CCP (and yet sort of love Dust), and I refuse to upgrade my PC for Legion.
