As some of you may be aware I am winding down my in-game activities for the time being in order to focus my efforts on RL. Now that said I will also take this opportunity to focus my efforts on finishing out my CPM0 term as well. As this time I have no plans to run for CPM1, but I have a few goals that I will continue to press for moving forward.
First, I will continue to push CCP to be open with you all about future Dust 514 development. With recent discussions I feel that CCP is working actively towards this goal. I will be reserved in my expectations, but I feel that with the right direction CCP can improve not only the Dust experience but use that improved experience to the benefit of Project Legion as well. Even if the bandwidth avail to Dust has been decreased there is so much that can still be accomplished.
Second, in order to bring clarity to the future I will continue working with the community on the #greenlightlegion campaign so that all of the players can have confidence that Duster experience in New Eden will have a future for many years and decades to come. This will also include working with CCP to retrospectively look at the Project Legion announcement, acknowledge the mistakes, and learn where to improve moving forward so that transparency, openness, and a strong relationship with the community can become a mantra that CCP lives by.
Third, I will continue to advocate for the CPM1 elections to be held ASAP. In my opinion this was our primary mandate as CPM-and while the white papers were a great step in that direction I cannot and will not rest until you are able to cast your votes for your representatives. The Dust 514 community is here and deserves a voice and a chance to continue the process of building a working relationship with CCP and the community.
Forth, I had some very important conversations with players like Aeon about the need for the ISD to have a presence in Dust and far into the future. These conversations turned into impromptu face-to-face discussions with CCP Rouge, CCP TIme Runner, and CCP Saberwing that then led to some positive movements in the Sunday summit meeting. I see many areas where ISD or ISD-like institutions can help be a force multiplier for both the community and for CCP. Players have been trying for years to establish an ISD presence in Dust and it's time that their dedication and hard work be taken seriously. I will do what I can to identify any barriers blocking this from moving forward and work with CCP to not only identify solutions but act boldly on those solutions moving forward.
Last, I am committed to advocating for the preservation of Dust 514 players' financial and time investments into New Eden and will continue to press CCP to be open an honest about the transfer process moving forward with Project Legion. My personal feelings are that all aspects of our characters should be preserved as much as possible in a way that doesn't hinder Game Design in realizing the vision of Dust 514 through Project Legion. As part of this future vision I will also continue to advocate strongly that throughout the development process of Project Legion that CCP always consider a future on the PS4.
One of the reasons I decided become CPM was that I fell in love with this community and I wanted to see it have an elected voice. What happened with Legion at FanFest broke my heart, but sticking my head in the sand or telling CCP to shove it does nothing but satisfy base desires for recompense. There is more work to do than ever for the CPM and that will be my focus. Please understand that actions in-game are just that and my task as a CPM councilor is something I approach as a real life task as David. Whether you love me or hate me in-game I will advocate for you as best I can and push forward to continue to make CPM 1 a reality and ensure that the Dust 514 community is heard.

You as well. I only wish the community could truly understand the invaluable asset that you have been to the community through CPM as our secretary. 90% of what you have done will never be seen by the community, but I have seen your hard work and will do my best to honor what you have done for us all.
