An update for all you war room subscribers. When I logged onto Dust/EVE yesterday afternoon after work I was notified by an in game email that I was now the CEO of ERA(Cesar Sousa is my EVE char) You can imagine my surprise. At first I thought there was some mistake or a misclick made by Kane so I contacted him. Without going into any details he informed me that some RL issues have come up and he needs to take an extended break. He gave me some very important words of wisdom that I will heed. They were "don't **** it up" I do not plan to.
What does this mean you all ask? Simply put all the flak and comments that you use to direct at Kane, I ask you now to direct them at me. But, just as a statement. I am not Kane, and although I have worked closely with him does not mean I shared similar views and opinions as him.
With that being said, I would like to take a minute to give credit where credit is due. This is a game, a very in-depth and unique game. Never before have I been a part of anything like it. Everyone plays it in the style that they choose. Some are straight up silent killers. They log on and just kill everything. Some are more vocal and are the Overt leaders of their corps, they rally the troops and help maintain order. There's also the covert leaders, or the Meta players. They have a plan and they will do everything in their power to achieve that plan. And last but not least, there's the window lickers who log on and provide everyone with a boost of moral and support.
I am saluting and giving credit to Kane Spero. Although currently the vast majority of the players in the game have a huge hate on for him, there is no doubt in my mind, he is a very dedicated player in this game. He HAS helped bring positive change and has fought many battles against CCP...battles he fought FOR you. Some of them...he is not allowed to talk about. I just want everyone to remember this is a war game, and there HAS to be opposite sides for that to work. You have to have an opponent to focus your team against. This includes creating propaganda, which is full of lies and truths blended together to rally your troops against the "enemy". Do not make it personal or take that to far. We have a small in game community, and we ALL will fight for and against each other at some point. You may not all have liked the way Kane chose to play this game but no one can deny it was effective. Let's give Kane the break he deserves to sort his RL out and lets not focus too much random hate for his style of play. If we all played the same way and got along, we would be playing tag in matches and not shooting each other in the face. GG(not QQ) Kane and look forward to when your back.
Now, looking to the future of ERA and a glimpse into the Crystal ball. ERA will be losing one way or another ALL of our districts. We have already given many away, and no showed many others. We are starting with a CLEAN slate. Do not for a second believe this is a sign that we are weakened. We are fully capable and have proven in the last few nights that our team, along with our allies know how to fight, and are willing to fight. We are just committed to starting from scratch.
I will not divulge our entire plan, that's just silly, but I WILL be open an transparent with just about everything. Here is what I want for the members of ERA. To have fun while being very competitive. To have FIGHTS. To build our strength to RETAIN our players and even GAIN some new ones. MH is now in ashes, and from those ashes, new corps will have land. Hopefully MANY corps from multiple different organizations. We would like to start by going back to our roots, Mercenary work. Playing for the people who hire us. No emotion, no politics, straight up take contracts and shoot people. That being said, we are LOYAL to our allies in NF and to a few others in the community who we have a great relationship with. If you see our teams in matches against you, do not take it personal, we have been paid to fight you, and NO we will not tell you by who. Does ERA want land? Yes. Who doesn't. But we want you all to have a taste of it as well. We will NOT over expand, but just have enough to fund our players and to provide clones to fight with.
I really am excited and look forward to building up our team. I also look forward to dealing with any and all of you. Friend and Foe. This game is NOT dead and I am here for the long haul.

I plan on being very open with and approachable. I will lean heavily on the exsperience and leadership of the current players in the corp aswell to our allies. One vision one team. They decide the direction of the corp, I just receive all the hate mails and be the public announcement maker! Haha.

Did you actually read my entire post. I said YES we ARE giving up all the districts. Let me say that again. Yes..we ARE. So...I AM sticking with and HONORING that. BUT..yes..there's a BUT. We still want to fight some fights while they get turned over. We have about...15 left I believe? We planned on no showing any fights that were not from AE/NS...so those corps who have attacks on us get those districts. I know you don't like me, that's fine. Hearing you on comms I cam to the realization that you are just a racist piece of **** who grew up in an imbred redneck community that teaches its members just to blindly hate without reason or using their brains. Shocking tho..I am surprised you have the ability to type words the forums. Stick to preach your hate in your Klan meetings.
To those reading...do you not want us to have some fights? Or..do you want all no shows so you can just claim victory, then taunt us and say "they are scared, they keep no showing" Make up your mind Bigolenuts...or better yet, please just shut the **** up.

How can you guarentee I am more racist? I am not. You nor anyone in this game can say they have, or ever will hear me utter racial slurs. You on the other hand..there are many that can. If I ever again head out to Alberta(4hr flight west) I would love to discuss with you in detail of my accomplishments in RL. I have no clue what you have accomplished, you you me, and I really don't care what you have or have not done. Has nothing to do with the GAME. We currently have no more attacks against us from any friendly corps. Eternal beings is attacking, DDB, Darklegion and I believe Dystopia? I'm at work so I cannot say that for a fact. Will confirm with you tonight if you wish. They can have them.

Sometimes...I don't know if your just talking **** for fun. Or serious. On the forums were chirp each other..but in the game we send messages like "GG and GL".

Wait...are you suggesting...that ERA's goal...is to PLAY the game? That's fuckin rediculous! Ban that man for suggesting something so outlandish! Yes...we are going to play the game. That's the point. Once we have NOTHING we will start from scratch...play for people who pay, or defend those who have been loyal and friendly. Then after time...make our return. No secret. I just stated the plan.

ER- Have you EVER been on comms with him? The first thing he asked me is if I was white..when I replied yes, he said "ok good" He then dropped the N bomb 50 times and we got into it on comms. HE IS a Racist. Even if he's just pretending on comms..his character plays the racist. I made NO mention of his place or origin nor his accent. I am purely basing my comment on the words that came out of his mouth. He open admits it on VOICE comms. Our argument was broken up by members of AE leadership after I called him out on being a racist. But..thanks for commenting.

check the districts, they are gone, giving them away free. Just like we said we would. My players want to play PCs...then give them away. We are showing that we are CHOSING to give away the districts. If we did not CHOSE to give them, they would still be ours. We our giving them away on our own terms, when we chose. I think we have 8 left. Good fight earlier tho, our players had fun. Look forward to more.

We are giving them away as fast as they come knocking, hell, some I am forcing on people. Not sure what the motive is behind attacking, I am sure is something so spectacular all of MH will take notice. All 60 of us.
Attacked twice, for a super secret and crazy random reason....this one time I will share it with you....It is so our players get a great PC match vs a fun team. Shocker I know. We do want you to give away YOUR districts. And then...when all yours is gone and the slate is clean, I hope you and your team strike out and start having PCs and retaking some. You deserve to continue to be apart of this game. No meta. Real talk, ERA wants PCS...so...instead of all our districts disappearing with a PC...we fight it...if we lose, the team takes it, means the deserve it, if we win...we remove the clones and first come first serve..or we give it to a deserving corp.

Stop attacking us, and we will GIVE away our districts. Like we have been doing after every match. It would just be fasted if they were online and I could click 8 times and poof. If they keep being attacked, then YES...we will fight SOME of them. The districts we are fighting for, are the ones people have asked to have from us. I know YOU from AE want to be the ones to give them away...but the answer is NO. WE will give them away. We made a promise to GIVE away our districts, not to let YOU take them. That is a huge difference to our players. I know it upsets you to not be able to flip our districts. They have been great games tho. The more you say you BEAT us..and the more you use the word SURRENDER makes our players want to keep smacking you around. The endstate is the same outcome, ERA with 0 districts...its the method of which its happening that we disagree on. Stop attacking us, and we will be down to 0 before the weekend.
