Unfortunately due to insufficient organisation on CCPGÇÖs part and the proximity to Fanfest, the Summit overall resulted in minimal dialogue between CCP and the CPM. While generally what dialogue did occur was constructive, little progress overall was made. The CPM has expressed their disappointment with CCP over the handling of the Summit, and has flatly stated that CCP needs to make improvements. CCP agrees that the summit was handled poorly, and that much improvement must take place before any further summits take place, including hosting the summit in Shanghai. Of the two most productive sessions, the first was concerning CPM elections and ISD involvement with DUST 514 and Project Legion. The end result was a commitment that elections would be held as soon as possible, the details of which should emerge in the week starting 2014-05-12. As far as ISD was concerned, CCP was eager to move forward with introducing the program for DUST 514 but had concerns about the ability to expand the program and still keep it functional. There was also some further discussion on how CCP could further involve the community in the development of Project Legion. Some progress was made in this endeavour, but at this time CCP are not ready to discuss these plans publicly but hope to do so in the coming months. As has been with the CSM minutes, the CPM minutes are reviewed by CCP and any NDA material is removed. This process allows the CPM to be as open and transparent as possible and lets CCP make the call if any material in those minutes needs to remain under NDA. Now it seems like asking the inmates to polish the gallows. Not build it please note. The gallows is in place and it being polished will not change its eventual use. And CCP will ignore whether the gallows was polished nor will they care who did the work. What they do care about, and always have, is not providing any additional resources to dust players of any grouping. Even if doing so would produce a better product, a better player experience and improved perception of their own abilities. CCP doesn't care, they don't have to, they are EVE. HTFU. Their attitude gets a little old, don't ya think? Nobody at CCP cares because we ain't Legionnaires.

At Fanfest we discussed some of the barriers of entry as to why ISD wasn't happening anytime soon and all. I think it came down mostly to a misconception that it was necessary to have a test server for the ISD guys to operate on and that's not at all the case. I have a youtube channel chock full of video evidence for bug reports and what I usually did was scroll through the Bugs section of the forums, find what someone had reported, found it, recorded it and then forwarded it to CCP Saberwing (who was incredibly helpful and a very important asset toward getting a lot of those bugs nipped in the bud). The thing is, CCP sees things that we don't. We see it as some kind of incompetence or apathy; they see it as a technical issue, an inability or a liability. You have to take a step back and think of it from their perspective. If your job puts food on the table for your family, and some dude comes up saying "Yeah dude, lemme help you with that, I won't even ask for money!" - you gotta kind of consider how they looks.
