One of everyone's favorite shooter modes is the instant action deathmatch. I don't want to wait in a lobby for 5 minutes for a deathmatch that might be as short as 5 minutes, so the Dust Ambush got this right. The payouts for these matches should be enough to sustain the loss of a few suits and break even over time...though the payouts should more accurately reward you for the value of assets lost AND destroyed. The game should encourage you to take bigger risks. As it is now, it is fairly easy to blow a million isk and come out with 200k payouts...including match payout compensation with respect to the assets you risked would be like ship insurance from Eve.
When I have more time, I would love to play some longer conquest type matches. Just like Skirmish 1.0, but with higher clone counts and more unlockable map segments with a base socket for the last stand. I really really miss Skirmish 1.0 and I really don't like the current game modes.
I miss Camp Gibraltar from 2142. I thought you guys could copy the map, put a roof/spaceship hull background on it you could have a pretty solid Titan "boarding party" assault map. The control points tug-of-war is worth copying.

I agree. Ten minute waits between matches gives me ample time to stew in my own inadequacy, and plenty of time to warm up a hot pocket and open up a bag of Doritos.
(what are hot pockets? We don't have them in Australia...)
