ok op. Not all of PC players. But cheaters will ruin fair game. There will always doubts about good players. And just lol about "modded controller", much more chances it was just mouse with macroses. Macroses is not cheat of course? 
When you use the "" emoticon, chances are no one will take you seriously.
And I, for one, am not displeased with the notion of no one taking you seriously.

Also worth mentioning is that if you develop for the PC you take a larger chunk of the revenue, especially on Steam. With consoles you have to pay for licensing fees and other such nonsense. So while the number of customers might be smaller on the PC, the profit earned might be much more comparable. Also neat is that you can sell older PC games relatively well, but selling older console games is... not as successful in most cases.

Unlike meaningless frag fests like CoD/BF/Planetside 2, the progress a character makes in Dust/Legion takes substantial time. I doubt many serious players would risk throwing away all that time just to do well in a couple matches. Because here is economic and ISK can be converted in real money - there will be enough smartasses who will risk. Second accounts and etc.
The flow of assets and ISK can be tracked, and RMT isn't doing well in New Eden with PLEX being available.

Sales don't mean much when it comes to piracy. Most pirates generally encourage buying a game if you like it. And they often do. Sometimes they don't, but when you like a game of course you'll want to support the developers. The people who don't usually buy things that they pirate, probably weren't going to buy it even if they couldn't pirate it.

But Jurassic Wars, Lord of the Realms 2, Heroes 2, Age of Wonders 2, quake 1 and 3, doom, descent - was greates games for that time. I guess guys who played playstation 1 and 2 - can argue with you. I cant. Among old games - PC is best. For modern games - situation changed.
I think it's kind of ironic. While you were off being a PC gamer, I was actually a console gamer. I've owned:
- Super Nintendo
- GameBoy Color
- GameBoy Advance x2 (second was SP)
- Nintendo Wii
- Nintendo DS x2 (second was a DS Lite)
- PlayStation
- PlayStation 2
- PlayStation 3
And now I'm not really a fan of consoles at all.
