It's not really our fault, CCP has created their own "translator" becuse of their lies and lack of keeping promises. So, I think it's only a natural reaction to be extremely skeptic of literally everything CCP says about Dust, no matter how re-assuring it is. Remember, "Lazer focused". Tankers are being diagnosed with a new disease; Cancer of the Assault Dropship. Many of them don't survive.

We currently don't have a date set for when you will get these updates. So no there will not be any new weapons, suits, no new vehicles, no LLav's that were pulled out, no new maps. Nothing that involves client side changes at all. We are in a game that is basically only going to see server side changes so mostly hotfixes and such.

It's longevity is definitely dead. The player base will slowly shrink as the reality that the game is "over" sinks in. Remember the 1st and 2nd day after the legion announcement? I did at least a dozen ambushes where both sides were in the single digits. That's what it will be like eventually. When that happens then, yes, the game is dead. It will be dead because it no longer functions the way it was originally intended because of a lack of players playing it. As far as "balance issues". There was another statement saying they will change only things on the server side. An example might be the animation a rail turret. That is stored locally along with all other animations. Server side will be something like hit detection since it's primarily network related. All of that being said. I don't really care to read an opinion of someone from CPM. I really don't mean it offensively at all. It just doesn't change the fact that your role was either minimal or nil as far as I am concerned. If it is to the contrary then I can say that you were part of the problem. I like to believe CPM didn't ask for OP tanks and the nerf hammer. I like to think CCP nerfed great weapons forcing players to play and buy AUR of the new FoTM weapons relaased after nerf (i.e. Nerf AR Spray in 1.7 but bring in OP CR and RR) as part of a method to make money. I like to think that I bought "x" amount of Logicoop suits with US dollars so they can change them to whatever the hell they wanted them to be in 1.8 was no CPM forgetting to mention that people spent real money for one product and then it is changed to another entirely. I don't think our problems were CPM. But again, b/c your role was so small and most of you play so little....I just don't care what you think. It can't be genuinely meaningful if you aren't an active player like so many others. I guess the point is: 1) Game isn't dead yet but will be when player base shrinks 2) CPM members that show up in the game saying "lay down and die" is not only stupid but pathetic and meaningless....despite my big paragraph that is the only attention I will give. So right now assume never. There are 5 threads that i know of that state this. In fact i made a thread that has a link to the post from CCP in it. In fact right now they have "plans" to try fixing PC and a few other things however they have no ETA on those fixes. So who knows if even those bug fixes will actually get done or not. Basically we are playing a game the devs have given up on. Its just too hard for CCP to program for the PS3 and rather than learn how to do it or hire someone that knows how to do it they are giving up on it. You should expect very little to nothing from CCP as far as dust goes. I imagine they have probably pulled most of the team from Dust to work on Legion.
