So ever since this whole Fanfest thing, things have been blowing up in the planetary conquest space big time and while it's quite entertaining to yours truly, I feel like there are some people around who ain't got their realities in check in terms of New Eden. You see, guys, what I'm talking about here is the back and forth between some people, and I'm not giving out any names, which constitutes of people blaming each other of breaking their promises. Well I'm gonna keep it short and sweet because you know what? The promises you're given in New Eden, brother, means jack ****! It used to be Dust514 before but it's New Eden now, baby. Harsh? Oh yeah. True? You betcha!

Second thing is, and I don't know you so I'm not gonna judge, but where I come from, when a guy starts a sentence with the word "uh", he's a grade A douchebag. But I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt.
Now it wasn't the biggest thing I took from that post but it sure was the most mind boggling, for a New Eden expert such as yours truly. You see, buddy, it used to be Dust514. After PC hit us, that's when **** got real. I'm gonna give a little tip here and this goes for the whole community, especially the Mag guys: Don't trust anyone.

That's strange. So I'm looking over my dossier, and there isn't any mention of me playing Super Mario. That's okay, though, getting information wrong in New Eden is also a norm.

Your op is stating you are the first to say New Eden is a *****. If you knew the answers to the question I posted you know you are not the first to say this on dust, and it is well understood. I have been playing since January 27, 2013. If you played in closed beta yea you played longer than me but it doesn't really mater because your whole op is about how dusters don't know that New Eden is a *****. That whole concept wouldn't of been really relevant till PC started.

What is strange about these folks is that they assume that opening the sandbox will make all the skilled players become window lickers when they move to Legion.
The skilled players will get hired by the evil overlords who pay the most. They won't screw over the best mercs because they will want to continue using them.
The bigger sandbox will open up more opportunities, but scrubs aren't going to start tbagging the top Dust dudes just because numbers in matches/areas will increase. I think it's important to maintain realistic expectations OP.

What concerns me though, is that a lot of players around here are actually handling their diplomacy with the assumptions that the other parties will honour the agreement. I mean what are we doing here? This ain't MAG, guys. This ain't Halo. This ain't Dust either. This is New Eden, brother, and let me be the first one to welcome your ass here boys and girls.
