Disclaimer Openly biased toward AE, which as been my corp for the past 1.5 months. Here's what it looked like from my end, without the spin ...
Pre-Conflict * DNS alliance openly sought 100% control of Molden Heath. * AE, ERA and Nyain San controlled approximately 90% of Molden Heath. * After the Fanfest debacle AE announced plans to disinvest districts. * AE was kicked from DNS alliance and mass attacked by ERA (and others).
Conflict * May 9th, PM - Heaven's Lost Property and ERA failed to take districts from AE. * May 10th, AM - Nyain San refuses to back ERA land-grab; leaves alliance. * May 10th, AM - Community, Nyain San, and other allies rally to aid AE. * May 10th, AM - ERA and others fail to take districts from AE. * May 10th, AM - Kain Spero throws in towel and recasts himself as people's champion.
Post-Conflict (Probable Outcomes) * AE will likely disinvest interests (as originally planned). * Escrow Removal will likely lose interests to attacks. * Nyain San will likely retain/expand interests. |

Krixus Flux wrote:Nice play by play bro. Judging from posts, it seems SteelDark (sp?) will keep to his word. But then it won't matter when Nyain San come takes it away from the community. And there's no way, right now, we can stop them. But GD doesn't even care. I think this thread might need to be moved
IMHO, all of this is relevant. War is good for Dust in so many ways. Folks sign in ... mercs get paid.
Yes, SteelDark will keep his word. Yes, Nyain San will be an enormously powerful and beholden to no-one. |

Folks sign in ... mercs get paid ... people get involved. Indeed it is bro. I thought this would be news that the GD'ers would like to hear about or at least discuss. Do you think a cascade effect could happen? I really need to get good, I want to join in the fight and the talks. General discussions is such a downer bro.
I suspect History to repeat itself. PC may once again be filled with lots of corps.
New Banners will be flown. New Reputations will be made.
In the end, the veteran corps will less-veteran corps. And the next "big alliance" will likely form around Nyain San.
Until something happens. A catalyst.
Last time, the catalyst was fatigue. This time, the catalyst was greed. Next time, who knows ...
In the end, we'll have been a part of a great game. Dust is like nothing else. I'm sad to see it go.

Bro, that was beautiful. It makes me sad man. I really love this game! No other game like it on console. I will always have fond memories of Dust 514, no matter what happened or will happen.
Thanks, Krixus! Seems like you and I are both hooked on Dust ... I wonder why it didn't "take hold' of more people like it did us? |

@ Pyramid
Why are you here if in fact you do not care? Is it because of your SP?
(I can't bring myself to leave either ... keep coming back). |
