Dudes will put uplinks on roof, objective is controlled by enemy and enemy just keeps them pinned on the roof until a warbarge strike drops on them.

once the team has been cornered and surrounded you are pretty much f******* anyway regardless of whether the uplink is on the roof, in a building or on the ground.

I always put at least 1 uplink on a high place so our team can tactically jump down as a reserver for spawning when they warbage the main uplinks. But I always have at least 2 reserved uplinks anyways.

Oh I get it bro, but blues will put uplinks on rooftops at the beginning of the match and that's it. Too often folks just get pinned on the roof and can't even live long enough to recover from inertia dampeners to make an impact on ground where the objective is.
It doesn't work every time dude but the blues still try roof uplinks

I put uplinks on low roofs. I refuse to put them on high roofs / towers because then idiots just spawn in as snipers / forge gunners and accomplish literally nothing.

This is the one of the dumbest qqs in game. I hear it on voice comms all the time. "Oh gdi, who put this stupid link on the ******* roof?" Seriously? Who was too ******* stupid to look at where they were spawning? How hard is it for you to move the joystick 1 cm to either side so you can see the elevation that all the links are at? If you want links somewhere else, put them there. |
