I run a Rail-tank sometimes. Militia Forge guns just aren't cutting it anymore, and I don't have the SP to invest into them. Its a militia Sica, of course. Now something I've noticed... the AV is really really bad. I can just sit there getting hit by swarms and forge guns and never lose any armor. Now while Forge guns are great at taking out snipers (TAKE THAT YOU CHEAP BASTARD!) Swarm launchers have no other use. They really are useless. If a guy with a swarm launcher tries to destroy my tank... honestly I don't have the heart to blow him to smithereens. I just stare at him until he walks away, realizing that hes not actually doing any damage. And then I blow him up a few minutes later because he decided to bring in his own rail tank...
I don't forge gun anymore. I quit it for the same reason I quit sniping... I felt like a cheap bastard. And now the only suit I use is a scout with nova knives and a rail rifle (I do still bring out a forge gun from time to time if a sniper gets on my nerves). However, I'm now much more effective at AV as a scout then I ever was as a heavy. How is this? Well as a scout I'm very fast and can jump very high. Meaning, I like to sit on enemy tanks and mock them. Before, that's all I could do. But now... well I discovered remote explosives.
What I'm trying to say here is... well for one please never nerf remote explosives. And secondly... buff the swarm launchers. Please buff them. I never use them but seriously its just pitiful watching somebody try to destroy anything with them. A swarm launcher can just be sitting there firing round after round at a LAV and never accomplish anything.

Seriously all it takes for me to take out a tank is for it to sit still, get 3 explosives on it, flux it, then set them off. Works with any type of tank (at least the non-factional ones... factional tanks scare me. They're the reason I don't play faction contracts... other then the fact that the Caldari loyalty store doesn't stock Caldari scout suits, nova knives, or cloaks, despite them all being Caldari made)
