we are the current people testing the beta project legion which dust514 they change the name to legion because dust514 is published by sony and the maps and other things they promise us last year fanfest that they gonna put on dust514 are all lies now they are all on project legion now so ccp just lied to us can we still trust them ? |

But it bears repeating for those who miraculously still think Legion can deliver on CCP's promises, or that they weren't screwed over by Dust's abandonment.

if dust 514 is supposed to be the beta then why are they supposedly not gonna add pve to it. it is a beta after all and the pve mode for legion should be tested on dust 514 first for all intents and purposes...
mlt vets are eternal. they shall be the bane to proto scrubs everywhere...

Don't look at it like CCP lied, as I don't believe they walked into developing DUST with the knowledge that the console wouldn't be the ideal platform.
I think they had the right idea giving the console FPS crowd a chance to run with it, but when it turns out that your plan is way harder than you expected you have to reevaluate your situation. If it comes down to admitting defeat and changing direction, then that's what you have do. This is what happened.

The way I see it, adding pve to dust would make it succeed more then CCP intends it to. Legion will have pve that will set it a part the most from dust.
We were/are console beta testers aka guinea pigs for a PC game. Unknowingly participating in something destined to fail

Promises and lies. Strong words.
Talking about what you'd like to do in the future isn't a promise. Its only lying when you know at the time what you are saying is untrue.
I think it is pretty clear that CCP were not able to deliver what they wanted to and thought they could. That was overconfidence, optimism maybe. I've seen no indication that they knew at the time that they couldn't deliver what they were describing at Fanfest.
Also, remember that most of the people running Dust this time last year are no longer there.
I'm not trying to "white knight" for CCP here, but lets bash them for what they actually did: overestimated their ability to deliver, badly fumble the delivery, keep us in the dark for a long time about their true plans, botch the attempt to spin the news at FanFest.
"Laser focussed on PS3" is another matter, of course. I've yet to be convinced that wasn't an outright lie.
