No, it's the microtransactions and DLCs which will give it longevity - from Activision and Bungie's point of view. You're right though, they probably do have that in hand.

Interesting. Bungie has stated that the PVP won't come until you have played enough of the PVE. The PVP is a by product, they want you to experience the PVE because that's what the game is based on.
If you carrying some stupid bitter Dust grudge over to another game...you're doing it wrong.

Im a dust beta vet and i dont hate new players. Actually i love new players. New players let me kill them alot so i can get more isk and sp. New players make it amusing for me to snipe at them because they run around in circles when i hit them the first time. New players keep things interesting and try stupid stunts which inevitably lead to me shooting them in the face and then watching them rage quit. So yeah i love new players dude.
Assumption is the mother of all **** ups. You should remember that.
I let my sniper rifle bullet to your face do all the talking :P

I think Boston is a ******* stupid location, personally. Chicago or New Orleans would be much more interesting IMO, or maybe Boulder, Colorado.

Boston would be a very interesting place considering the lore worthy content that was hinted at in previous instalments especially considering the Commonwealth references we constantly have thrown in our faces.
Something out on the East Coast could be very interesting, Chicago yes, Philidelphia possibly, but Boston strikes me as a good location for Fallout 4, especially if Bethesda wanted to expand on Post War Technology and development.
