Much like how naive some are now to think that legion will let that happen. even on same platform. eve players will have seizures, and therefore it won't happen. Legion will be about working for are "with" our eve counterparts. obviously them getting the better deal of any thing meaningful. But it makes sence, EVE is in the name. And eve players will be the majority that will be playing it. But at one time dust 514 was not made up of eve players. Those guys that spent hours and cash on this game. on the forums. To try and make dust514 stand out among the best that any fps had to offer. Never forget those guys.

There are ships called Titans that can one-shot a capital ship, AFTER the nerf. Before that they could one-shot an entire fleet. So the concept of us being able to bring down cap ships with a ground cannon is not at all unlikely. It's probably because they wanted to implement those kinds of systems that they are going to PC. And yes, some Eve players will scream bloody murder, but a lot more of us will say HTFU. Amarr Victor!

Actually dust started out full of eve players, Mordu's trials were the first invites sent out and you had to have an eve account to register for them in the beginning. After the very beginning of them EVE players were given priority when invites went out for the next round. There aren't many reasons to be near planets in EVE so the likelihood of making a mechanic where shooting between the two for anything besides killing orbital bombardment ships is not likely. I'm for crossover between the two but I'd like to see Dust/Legion players offline poses temporarily, or deploy to stations to disable certain station services, or deploy to moons to offline moon mining arrays temporarily. And of course I'd like to see the ability to raid PI although then PI would need a makeover as currently it is not that prolific across the universe.

PD: Saying that Dust "was mostly eve players" would make sense except for the part that A FUCKTON of mordu invites were given away to FPS players/clans

I remember when the closed beta FPS guys (the ones who paid to get into beta) came in. The crying to have us nerfed came in constantly. MMOFPS wars started then. With constant arguments as to what should be looked at first. My brothers pushing hard for the mechanics to be in place before 1.0. I even remember them getting called COD players when many came from mag. lol Well anyway we all know how it ended. Wonder what happened to that one dude who said dust should be a dice roll game? never saw him after 1.0

If anything, it's gotta be rankling at CCP that we can't already blap super expensive EVE ships from the ground. I mean, have you read anything about these guys? ****, man, while the high-sec industrialists who supposedly "own" EVE were sobbing on the forums about Burn Jita, the Devs were all cheering Goonswarm on! CCP are massive trolls, man. EVE tears from losing their ships to console players would just make them laugh.
