Zeekoh wrote:You people are so damn stupid. If CCP didn't want people to know, then why would they reveal Legion in the first place? You idiots are acting like DUST has been abandoned and it's not going to be supported by CCP for at least a few more years. DUST even has updates coming out later this year and a few improvements as well. At this stage Legion may not even become it's own game! Although it's unlikely that it won't. Not to mention the PS3 isn't a permanent platform and Sony will take the PS3 servers down and use them for something else as soon as it starts costing them more money than it makes them. Here's something all of you obviously don't understand... CCP doesn't need to employ underhanded tactics to get your money. They aren't hard pressed to steal your cash. They don't need it. The simple fact is that EVE has over 500,000 active monthly subscribers and the money they make from DUST is pocket change. http://www.polygon.com/2014/5/3/5678596/Project-Legion-Dust-514-CCPLiterally anything that you buy with real money that is applicable to Legion, when it comes out, will be transferable. You aren't losing anything. It's nobodies fault but your own if you don't know how to properly invest your money and read ToS policies. While you are all telling people not to buy things because it's a waste, and not to play this game anymore, take into consideration that you're a moron and don't know what you're talking about. You're just spreading the hysteria and it's god damn ridiculous how all of you are acting.
Since you claim to be "informed". Where did you get the information to make this statement? "Literally anything that you buy with real money that is applicable to Legion, when it comes out, will be transferable." I've read that will "try" to move things over but that that they will. Feel free to link any comment from CCP that says it will without 100% of a doubt be moved to Legion.
A link from a 3rd party website is not sufficient. The information should come from these forums.

A link from a 3rd party website is not sufficient. The information should come from these forums. Aside from straight from the developer's mouths or the fact that countless articles have been written stating the same thing from tons of credible gaming sites? Here you go: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=160232&find=unreadCCP Rouge wrote:Hi everyone,
Thank you for all of your feedback so far. I'd like to answer a few of your questions about DUST 514 and Project Legion directly given the feedback you gave me. I've picked these four points as they are coming up the most on the forums as well as in the live roundtable discussions here at Fanfest.
1) What happens to my character, skills and stuff?
If Project Legion becomes something more than a prototype, we will not leave our DUST 514 players behind. You would be able to bring your character name, applicable skills/inventory, and other elements of progression with you. We are still working on the details and we will have more to announce soon.
2) Are you completely abandoning DUST dev?
No. Without promising too much, we are actively working on stuff like balancing, Planetary Conquest, matchmaking, the in-game economy, and more. And of course we continue to work with the CPM to identify ways to improve the game.
3) Is Project Legion going to have a PS4 version? Or something for consoles?
It is still far too early to discuss platform expansion, as like you saw we are still only working on the PC prototype at this time. But the PC architecture gives us the opportunity to grow once we have a great PC product at hand. For now, though, PlayStation 4 is not something we are working on.
4) When are you going to give us more concrete information on Legion?
Again, Project Legion is still in an early stage of development but the whole idea behind giving a sneak peek at Fanfest is to get early feedback - and I really want to keep this discussion going, show you progress through dev blogs and such and listen to what you have to say.
Please post your feedback and questions in this thread - and let's keep this conversation going. The team and I will be reading this thread, and I will respond as soon as I can.

LOGI EDIT: Please make sure to read through all the dev posts in this thread before responding, a whole lot more questions have been answered.
He states, "we are working on it". Kind of like, "we are laser focused on Dust". I won't believe it until I see it.

Meaning, don't get your hopes up, we are doing everything we can.
Until I see something concrete, everything they say is a lie.
