On the other hand, anything i have heard about destiny is positive, and Bungie will meet most of there promises becuase they have in the past.
A Dust fanboy may argue that destiny has a larger budget, and dust doesn't have 25% of Destinys budget...
But who cares? Destiny is better, so i will spend money on it! Why should anyone stand up and support a less developed game full of empty promises when there is a better game around the corner.
CCP has promised us exploration for dust, PvE, player trading, and tons more that we will never get. CCP actually has to start a new game to get this stuff right!!
Destiny will have its promised content on launch, and new content will come on a daily.
Dont support the weak ( when it comes to gaming) cough* halo 2 cough* cough* Oni Marathon Halo Reach
Halo Reach was nice. Very interesting single player. Coop was great too. Much better than Halo 4. |

" As reported by Crave gaming site Destructoid, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick told attendees at L.A.'s Milken conference last week that his company is ready to invest $500 million in creating, marketing and supporting Bungie's project.
The company also confirmed to Reuters that that money will be spend over a decade GÇö meaning Activision not only sees Destiny as one of the company's potential tentpole games, but as a juggernaut franchise they intend to exploit for years to come. "
Kinda knocks "laser focused" out of the ring huh?
You better believe that they're going to be committed to getting every dime back plus a whole lot more.
I don't really understand the mindset of people like this. It's you paying for the games, not them.

Here we pay to beta test and get our game cancelled.
First off, Dust is F2P.
Second, Dust is still running.
Third. Do I need one? Well, let's say this. If I was wise, I don't think I'd comment on how good/bad Destiny was until I actually played it. You know they're going to have a shitload of gated content, microtransactions, socialmedia tie ins, and a nice AAA price up front to boot. Zero day DLC? Bet on it. Obviously I'm not wise.
Also - not a single one of you invested any money in Dust. Hopes and dreams maybe, but not one dime that you or anyone else here spent is an investment. |
