I would like to request a monument in one of the legion maps, to honor the warriors of dust, the beta's and dustbunny's. So that when the game grows to its full potential over time...we can look at that monument, when passing by and remember those that died in the first two years of the wars. |

What exactly do mean by a monument? Assumably, it is one without names, as it would be difficult to place (it would have to be quite large), read, and write.
It could possibly have the old DUST Logo on it. |

I imagine it wouldn't be any harder to read in game than the Eve monument is IRL, small names are easy to render, you would just have to really look hard to find yours. Also a great distraction for any shotgunners to take advantage of. +1
Can we have an ETA on Legion please, don't want to buy a computer till I know what I need to run this

That would be one way of doing it. But i think what would be better is; if there was a city like map/complex, and in the middle there is a square/plaza and in the middle of that a statue of for instance a logi trying to pull a wounded trooper to safety, while the trooper himself is still firing his smg as a FU to the foe or something along that line, plus on the bottom of that statue a plaque saying: DUST514. That is how i envision it. We all would know what that statue means (a representation of the fallen, of those that continued and of those that said FU) and since it is a complex of sorts there would be plenty of places to just take a breather and look, before getting proto stomped or nova knived. This is my vision, but the main thing is there needs to be something that will allways remember us of our years in dust and of those we played with. |

A quick lore note. No one in New Eden would build a monument that reminds people of the "514 incident". Now, that being said, they would likely be glad to comemorate the Mercs themselves. I guess that you could explain the "514" as one merc who had sleeper traces who put the infamous red "514", and no one cared to fix it. That would be cool. |

How about:
1) Memorial Wall / Monument in a non-combat area.
2) Secret Areas with certain maps (like a barracks) that contains the 514 Blood Scrawling
3) 'Timefall' Caldari/Minmatar/Amarr/Gallante Assault Suit
