Now that Dust is seemingly winding down towards it's inevitable doom, how many of you have "unfinished" business left in the game?
For example, I've never:
1. Flown a dropship.
2. Used nova knives.
3. Used an active scanner.
4. Used kin cats or the melee damage mods.
What sort of things have you never gotten around to doing in the game?

Owning Dragonfly BPOs. I've used almost everything except a HMG. And the tux. Would love to get to at least 20mil ISK.

I have never used the following weapons:
Nova knives
Ion pistol
Bolt pistol
I've never successfully flown a drop ship
I've never used myofibril stimulants
I think that is about it
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

I have not run a scout at all but that is going to have to wait as I have a couple million SP left to finish out my amarr assault / scrambler rifle combonation (still got Prof V and assault V left to unlock)
The scout does not really seem fun to me but I want all of the Amarr suits maxed out and that is the only one left once the assault is done.

Haven't played PC, flown an Assault Dropship, used a missile tank, flown a tank, brick tanked, went against Mr. Mustard (played with him a few days before fanfest for the first time though), JLAV, JDS, quick scoped, killed someone with the breach Flaylock, used any officer gear besides the Thale's, squaded up with forum warriors (at least on purpose; I REMEMBER YOU BORM1R!), upgraded past Op. 1 on the RR or CR, completely maxed out a weapon.
Screw it. Not going to go further. Not even I would reread my own post. TL;DR. |

I haven't got any proficiency past 3. It always seemed so cheap to just up damage by unlocking a passive skill bonusGǪ
Also haven't learned to fly a Dropship, and have only a few skills in vehicles to level 1.
The most OP weapon on the Dust Battle Field:
One good logi, one rep tool, and a heavy.

I haven't used melee mods but I used bolt and ion pistols exclusively yesterday and flaylock pistol with my shotgun fit the other day.
I also haven't used the magsec yet.

Thanks for this thread. Since this reply I have created a scout fit using some left over AUR.

Shoot the driver of a Jihadi LAV that is about to blow his precious tank up. Such an amazing tactic, using Jihadi jeeps. And so cheap too. Whats the cost? Maybe 20K isk for the remotes and NOS. LAVS are free.(BPO). Godins tank cost maybe 500K isk.
All the tears are priceless. That is a valid tactic still to this day.

I have yet to successfully fly a Dropship for more than 30 seconds.
I also have yet to play a release-ready version of DUST.
And I haven't seen an ant eating its own head. Or a tree.
Also, still waiting on that lamp-post launcher turret for my tank. |
