that's a really stupid reason, if the gameplay and mechanics are working then its fine. at least with dust we have thousands of reasons why we hate it.

Mass Effect was never supposed to end well...... it was always supposed to end in a grim ammoral choice that every effort you had made throughout your play through's brought you to......
that being said I have never played fully through 3 even though I have the full trilogy and have done 1&2 play throughs regularly.

Was Kingdoms of amalur reckoning any good? I really liked oblivion and skyrim and some friends said it was like a more cartoony version, any thoughts? |

Cartoony and pretty meh if you wanted a really gritty game. But if you like massive world, hack and slash, and that kind of high fantasy definately try it.

The gameplay and mechanics of ME1 were better... It was a far better RPG than its followers. Exploring the Galaxy was amazeballs.
ME2 was a bit more combat focused and a bit more restrictive, but it was still openworld and exploration was still a thing.
ME3 played like Gears of War. Linear, cover based shooter. Exploration was pointless, as there was nothing to find.
The ending of ME3 was riddled with plotholes, was unsatisfying, and reeked of copy n paste. Apparently, the EP of the game decided to write it himself and didn't let the rest of the design team have a say on it. |

I know not a lot of people like it, but I really liked the Dead Space series, it went downhill a little at 3, but still managed to maintain some of what made the first two a fun experience.
Isaac is such an unlucky bastard.
I know its already on the list, but Starhawk was great, and could've been huge, but **** Sony marketing let it down. They just didn't see the potential.
Souls series is pretty much essential for any RPG fans.
