The real problem is high latency laggers. CCP's method is broken. Proto stomping is a group of high KDR players in a group/squad/corp. Over the last year high latency players joined up and thru their advantage dominated the score boards thus war point earnings, and the protostomper was born.

You can prove this by cross refrencing DUST's elite players PSN ID's with historical statistics at sites like bf3stats, and you will find most are mediocre players. Other AAA FPS games handle latency a lot better, but CCP is trying to build an MMO/FPS.

Since the "end" of dust has been announced, pubs got wayyyyy better. Been running basic fits in pubs and im already up 5 mil from 2-3 days o.O. My other console buds are calling it "The best thing that ever happened" we have dreams of biting the donut. Swear my brother corp has recruited 10 people during this. My biggest laugh has been the "dead system" one liner. Your down is showin PCMASTERBA..., fools still play sega dreamcast, emulators are everywhere, and the average home has at least one ps2. The very act of saying "dead system" shows your inexperience in the true gaming world. Yup, ps3 is certainly not the hottest Christmas item, think that will stop sales on it for the next 7 years?
