Best F2P FPS on the market other than TF2. Tried Planetside, it's terrible.

I made an account in Hawken because my brother got some redeemable codes (worth $30) for it when he bought a new GFX card a year ago.
How is the customization in this game? How does it hold against Titanfall?
I am also looking for a new home.

Hawken is amazing and supports rift
Hawken vs. Titanfall, let me see hmm Hawken is basicaly Gears fast paced fights, its not exactly mecha like in MechWarriors series, but its still better in my eyes than Titanfall, better lore, ingame mechanix and everything.
What i really love is full tuning of your mech.

Game seems to have similar problems as Dust 514. Dunno if I want to try it out. 
Flak scouts = Shotgun scouts.
No player retention, player numbers dwindling.
Few game modes, few maps.
