I thought it was another iteration of Eve itself, not a separate game like Dust, so I paid no attention to it until now.
So far all I know is it's a pretty decent looking spaceship FPS, with some cool explosions and stuff. And that you use a virtual reality device on your head. And it's on the PS4 and PC.
Anything else I should know?

thats pretty much it really, sure we could use some marketing speak and big words to make it seem amazing but end of the day you're just using a VR device to control a virtual spacecraft, from a virtual cockpit, in a virtual dogfight, with look around and aiming functions tied to the movement of your head. i mean, its kinda like a child hood dream come true.

Nice, sounds like something people in the 80's thought was only a few years away. Sometimes technology is fast and sometimes it's not.
I'm really hyped fir virtual reality though. I'm kind of excited about Valkyrie being on the PS4.

guys, this is nothing new though. the only thing new is it has HD graphics.
YEARS ago I played a game exactly like this. It was an arcade game at a resort in Disney World Florida. You pulled the "controller" down from above you with two hands, like a helmet and you could turn around 360 degrees and shoot stuff. I think it was an anti-aircraft turret you controlled.

I hope I won't NEED that headset to play.
I would much prefer joysticking my way about without needing a headset.
Speaking of Valkyrie, maybe TrackIR might be compatible too.
Much prefer that idea.
Because you wanted to be something you're not.

I remember seeing those in the Chucky Cheese I went to when I was 9.
It was some mech game I think...
Looked cool now, but then it was kinda freaky

I agree. If the headset is too expensive I probably won't be getting it UNLESS there are other games compatible with it that I would enjoy.

IDK, the headset is kinda the whole appeal about it, i mean it would allow them to free up a stick for other control purposes, but i have to agree, i hope it doesn't cost too much.
