I wish we had this kind of buying power...

No, I'd have to upgrade it... And not grow up ever... Sometimes, I just want to sit down and play a game, not build a PC to play a game. My PS4 hasn't steered me wrong yet. My PS3 did just grand and gave me some great experiences. I don't want to play MMOs, so, a PC holds no value. Plus, I have a $1500 laptop I haven't used in over a year and a half... I can only imagine how quickly I'd stop using a PC if I owned one...

I have that same controller for my laptop. It sucks compared to a dualshock 3. like a lot. of sucking. sucks a lot.
it's ok for roms though. had fun playing Pokemon Snap with it and some steam games.

Lol you don't need to upgrade your PC to play a new game everytime dude, you may need to just upgrade some or just one of the parts once out of 2 years honestly.
This coming from a guy who's part of the PC second class ( my PC ain't exactly the best but it runs games fine ) not the PC Master Race/1st class of PC Gamers.

That's a lot. considering you can get a Dell Inspiron 3000, for around $500, and get built-in graphics good enough for a lot of stuff, so long as you get the "4th gen cpu" types with the updated onboard "HD 4600" graphics chipset.

yeah, it wont run high end stuff on maximum detail. But come on, when you're running an FPS, you dont really notice the minute details. Put it on medium, and enjoy the $300
Contrariwise, slap in a $50 card to an existing box, and get equivalent gaming.

Wait until we have more details of both specs and time frame, if beta is 2 years away (god I hope not) then anything you buy now will be that much worse by then.
My plan is to follow closely whats going on and buy the best I can afford about 2 weeks before I can get access to Legion

I understand that, but, I find it easier to buy a console every 6 or so years. I don't have time for that crap. Plain an simple. If I had a use for it other than to play games, maybe, but I have literally no other use.

Already have a system that I use for design stuff so the controller is nice for helping the transition so thanks for that.
That rig could probably be built with a more suitable hard drive, a nicer looking case, and a better m/kb for around the same price if you took the time to match everything up.
