anyway you could hold a database of all these sigs. so its not pulling from website but from a serverside database.. it would only mean that players would have to upload their sig to your database.. meaning no security breach.. i dont know if this could work or not

that is how facebook does things. everything on facebook is cached to there servers. trusted sites like youtube was an exception but not sure it that is so now. |

This would be worse.
If I trick the image tag into linking to an external script or similar, that's one thing. Minor inconvenience and redirects.
If I convince CCP's server to download my script or similar, it's pretty much game over.

Are you telling me in this day and age there is not a way that we can have cool sigs and little gifs and it NOT be a security risk? I have been really enjoying the recent splash of colour on these usually drab grey forums.
