Simple concept here...... if you don't want to be here anymore, then leave.
Stop trying to ruin the community on your way out the door.... just go, now and let those of us who want to stay have a meaningful dialogue with CCP about how to proceed.
All the ragefest is doing is prolonging answers and new information. You lot have chased off the devs. They're not speaking to the playerbase because there is a LOT of hatebile being sprayed all over the walls, right now. Your internet toughguy acts are doing the complete opposite of what you want them to do, and it's only hurting the people who still care about the game.
DUST 514 doesn't add much at all to CCP's financial coffer. In fact, it's mostly been a drain on their bottom line, and you mouthbreathers demanding refunds are making that worse.
NO WONDER they aren't talking to us.
So just pack up your toys and storm off. Go gripe and complain to the other kids in gym class and leave us alone to pick up the pieces. Biomass, uninstall DUST, and forget the address to the forums.
Goodbye, and good riddance.

I admit that I may have reacted a little too strongly to some of you.
I'm just not one to sit idlly by while a community I care about is ripped apart at the seams because a few people are behaving in an immature manner.
I've been pretty immature, myself. All it took was a few cups of coffee and a drive to clear my head.
I'm still not likely to tolerate willful stubbornness, though. But I think I've some clarity to at least be more....... polite about it.
How's about we try it like this from now on:
Let's all take chill pills. I've already swallowed my own. And let's divide into three sections..... 1. those who want to stay and don't care what the conditions are, 2. those who want to stay but want answers and clarification, and 3. those who want to leave.
Group 1.... good on ya. Keep being awesome. Group 2.... (myself included) calm down and stop riling the others up. Group 3.... please for the love of decency, just fade out and find a game that suits your personal wants and needs.
As for the DNS member who said I didn't accomplish anything in DUST.... I feel that I did. I played a game I admittedly suck at, and had fun anyway. It's a game. Get over yourselves. I will continue to have fun playing DUST until we all migrate over to Legion, and then I will have fun there.
To those I owe an apology to.... my bad. I'm changing my tune as of now. We all said some dumb things... me just as much as everyone else. Again.... my bad. I'm adult enough to admit when I'm wrong.

Well aware of what happened at Fanfest. I've been outspoken in my opinion that CCP should have announced it before people paid good money to fly to Iceland. I still don't think this much rage was warranted. But I don't hold CCP blameless for their misguided decision.
We EVE players have endured a number of foulups by CCP. They're human beings, and they make mistakes. But when the EVE playerbase called them on their poor choices, they straightened up and made it right in our eyes. The community gets stronger, every time.
Once cooler heads prevail, the DUST (soon to be Legion) community will experience the same upswings EVE has enjoyed.

Interesting. Because I was subscribed to Sport Compact Car from the day the magazine started to the day it ended. Suddenly and without warning at the end of 2008.
There were still open projects they didn't finish that I wanted to see through to the end.
Did I rage out at the publisher and demand my money back? Nope. I was a customer of the only worthwhile custom car magazine, ever, for several years, and I walked away feeling like I had lost nothing.
With the DUST issue, at least the game will continue on with another platform. SCC readers didn't even get that much.

Considering three things here:
1. Aside from my PC, I own two consoles and two handheld systems, so I don't understand how I qualify as "PC Master Race".... you're just looking for ways to insult me. And my PC isn't even a custom gaming rig. It's an off-the-shelf semi-gaming Samsung.
2. Still not sure where you come up with this "he must be sucking off people at CCP".... when you give sexual favors, you usually GET something in return.... not give and give. That's just a bad investment when you think about it.
3. I have repeatedly said I was not happy with the way CCP announced this. It should have been said in a Devblog 6 months ago. I'm just as unhappy as you lot are about that, I'm just not spewing ragebile about it.
I would say YOU are the one that needs a lesson in how to form an effective argument.
