But in all seriousness, if you look at the Eve Online forums, it's mostly filled with threads about how this is such great news. Unfortunately the few threads over there that are legitimately concerned about the console players have been drowned out by posts like "LOL @ Consoles".
As an Eve player myself, I like to apologize for such behavior. Its ok. What they dont realize is that, if Legion becomes popular, the PC FPS vets are going to be just the same as us console gamers. I can already tell you that I have heard many say that they are going to try out Legion only to grief the living hell out of EVE players based on what they have read. All of the giddiness is just the perfect setup for tears later.
Lol, a console gamer would get beaten by any eve legion newb who has been on PC for years everytime.

And if you are new to k/b and mouse then you are going to get owned in every engagement. Some people pick it up quick but not many.
Using a k/b and mouse well is like playing an instrument compared to lol conTROLLers

CoD, TTK was too low and twitch was too much for me (granted, I played 5 matches only) and TF2, the KB/M control killed me. Turns out, I just suck at FPSs no matter the input method.
You've just not wasted enough time on them then lol.

I suspect you may be missing the point. I put it in bold so you're more likely to see it. I'm a PC FPS veteran AS WELL AS a console gamer (started on Doom). I know my way around FPS controls with mouse and keyboard, AND I know my way around a console game using the controller we have there. If I have an up-to-date gaming PC when it shows up, I'll be giving Legion a look (no money unless there's been some MAJOR apologies and changes between now and then), and I'm pretty sure the majority of EVE players won't be keeping up with those of us know know how to play PC FPS games. I know a lot of PC FPS players who will be VERY MUCH looking forward to doing the same thing I plan to do.
Same as that. Butthurt scum can bring it with all the tears they have, it still won't mean sht, just another scrub who got killed or killed someone is all they'll be.

You've just not wasted enough time on them then lol. I am about 60% better with a KB+M with raw input. Oh how the evetatds neck beards will ache. Enjoy playing two year catch up 
You will be a small fish in a big pond mate and scum will take a lot longer than 2 years to catch up. They'll quit before that.

You could hook up a controller but regardless of how good you are you'd still get owned repeatedly even after re mapping it.
And Reg Its not going to be a game filled with f2p hippy scrubbers or generally people who can't even be bothered anymore, you will be fighting people who have 10+ years experience with PC fps and they will be trying to win.
Granted there will be eve fps newbs, newbs and noobs.
