How about a view of a night sky and stars of New Eden from the ground with the tree in a frame?
P.S.: Some lava would be awesome...

Covered it in one of my old topics considering gravity, temperature, radiation font, luminosity and others, that is a must have in such game, and I agree on some planets, but still there are some that are useless from physics approach like oceanic or gas where atmosphere density will tear you apart and no suit will save you, should it be tank maps only to remove tankers from other places? Well again not sure they survive it.

Oceanic could perhaps revolve around relatively shallow parts, not just for pressure, but because of light/visibility as well. Vehicles might be unique submersible vehicles on that map potentially. Gas probably would involve a "floating platform" in the upper atmosphere of the planet or something similar.
Don't want to argue with you but you better grab on some book about astrophysics.

Planets in EVE don't orbit, and when you turn off your engines in EVE, you slow down. Astrophysics in New Eden? Nonsense.
So you want to add more nonsense? A simple stuff like making front calibration engines of small size will make stopping in space a normal activity considering that they need to reflect the speed of ship only and not the warp speed as you enter warp from static speed and end in a static speed, this means in warp-space you gain speed you never had in space and warp engine collapses bubble only when the speed of a ship in warp is average for ship in normal space where it can easily stop, not taking in consideration stuff like gravity or weight of ships. Just to make it more truth-worthy some graphics on front engines for ships is enough, consider EVE is like a ship with lots of skills you need to train and not all of skills are of 5th level but you can fly it even with less skills, and CCP is a player who creates skills some are 5th level some still need to be completed...
We must know what is reliable and what is a time-waste and filter ones from others. You can't apply same mechanics for all planets, applying different will create new types of gameplay that involve more players and that is what is intended. By such, planets with no possibility of MCC and Null-cannons are a space station missions on orbitals or underwater and that is for a PVE or PVP without eve-side of different type with capture and destroy but that is already FPS games style we have in gaming industry and is not what we want. As well we could combine pve of both games having missions ran by players at same time in both games around planet or a station and here is far more interesting to create. I understand you wrote it a time ago but still it cannot be that way always, update your ideas or there always will be a guy that will say that something is nonsense.
