Titles!
Yes, that nifty little vanity thing that WoW introduced.
The main reason would be to reward DUSTers who helped develop the game.
Some titles I'd like to see are:
Templar
Architect
Judge
General
Veteran
Veteran Scrub (this would be mine)
Clone 514
Biomaster
Original Clonster
Big Spender (you know you did)
Legionnaire (don't you think only we DUSTers deserve that title)
Developer
And
Badass Mofo

EVE has titles
But the titles are set by directors and the CEO himself. ...so you can have a strnage abnormal title like "Eats monkey brains while reciting the American anthem" (I seen this before) and thank your lovely director :D
My title in eve is "Cant type for ****" as I can't type for ****
Maybe legion will have this option...

I had "the immortal" when it was actually a pain to get.
Dying to ' frogger' happened far too many times for a top guild.
For Legiust 514 titles I take "the batshit Crazy"

Before I quit WoW last year to play DUST I was in with a large group that was grouping to earn the Bloodthirsty title. That was a blast. It was the WoW equivilent of pubstomping. We became quite infamous and had many complaints. The reason I supported that in addition to the earning the title was that we weren't decked out in the best gear. It was truly a matter of coordination to pull it off.

No, real nerds go for "God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals" from Guild Wars 2 (50 maxed titles earned in GW1 on same account).
Anyway, the best titles are ones that require permanent high performance, for example; Sharpshooter, based on your lifetime average weapon accuracy/headshot rate. |
