I know CCP have stated that character transfer is a thing that will happen to an extent, but I'd just like to point something out: My main, Lorhak Gannarsein has just under 40M SP as of time of writing. At current rates of 30k per day (including maxed daily bonus) and assuming the player caps out every single week, a freshly created character would have ((24k*365=8.76M)+(6k*365=2.19M)+(190,400*52=9,900,800)=20,850,800) SP, before the abundant bonus SP events and assuming no boosters purchased.
Essentially, what I'm trying to say is that my character has almost two years SP. I would hope that any character transfer reflects the enormous time- and financial commitments this reflects, considering I have been accruing SP for only 16 months.
If it isn't clear what I'm saying, I'll make it specific: any and all character transfers should award an equivalent amount of progression to that which the original character possesses, no matter the changes to the progression system.
I realise that my character has been banned, and I (from this moment forward) intend to respect that, excluding this thread.
I feel that it is exceedingly important that this is respected.
And of course, if that meta-based matchmaking works, my SP gap won't carry me anyway!

It was implied by Rouge that only applicable skills would be transferred.
I want it to be clear that all my skills are transferred, and I want all my two years of work and money transferred too.

The aim would be to protect your total investment, absolutely. It's super hard to give exact specifics on how that would work just now though. If I could give you more information I definitely would.
I really appreciate the rapid response; would it be in poor taste if I bumped this every now and then, though?

I'm less irrationally angry, and a lot more excited.
Although I would like the specs for Legion released ASAP, even a ballpark figure would be amazing.
