While I would rather not ever own a Microsoft OS again, the show stopper for me is KBM. How much effort will go into the controller side of development vs KBM on PC? I've only ever played FPS on consoles, and I'm too old to train muscle memory on a document writing interface.

I didn't say ask if it would have the ability to plug a USB controller into a PC an move the merc around. I've played (or attempted to play) FPS on PC before with a controller, it tries to just emulate directional control, not speed sensitive joystick movement.

In games like BF4 or Titanfalls there allways is a controller setup which can be used with a PS3 Controller connected by USB or a XBOX 360 USB Controller. If the implement a mapping you will be able to play by controller.
The main problem will be the aim assist which wont be in a PC Game.

There are programs you can find on the internet that will allow you to map keyboard and mouse inputs to a controller if there's no set support for it in the game itself. Some examples are Xpadder, JoyToKey, and Pinnacle Game Profiler. |

It shouldn't be too hard. Most game controllers can be used on the PC. It's been like this for years. Hell, Microsoft Flight Simulator X even lets you use an Xbox controller to fly a plane.
