I came back. At least, to the forums.
Purchased Armored Core Verdict Day, waiting on an actually working HDD(strangely it ONLY installs dust...) whih will be on Thursday. Already building AC's using the online build tool, and finding out via guides that Shotguns are useless for anything except defense break/stagger.
Anyways. Back to DUST.
What did the 'putting sand in the box' presentation reveal? More information about how their new wife is going to be sp awesome? ANYTHING about DUST?
For those willing to spend 10 bucks on a game, buy ACVD($5 for PS+) and add me.

Sandbox thing was about all these new things coming like getting gear from killing things via PvE, turning off the player's radar on low sec PvE planets to make it a bit more interesting, and a couple of other ways to make the game better. Speech went on for 15 minutes until the speaker said Legion and that everything being mentioned was for Legion only. After the speech, there was a panel that consisted of two guys that did a really good job dodging questions.
But, being completely honest, it is worth watching because a HEAVILY German/Icelandic/Russian accented man who was drunk out of his mind got up and started asking belligerent questions.

It seems to not let you see the overall AC's stats, though that could be my IPHONE being a derp.
Also, handguns don't show correctly.

I gave up on AC5 when I realised that shotguns are atrocious and resistances on enemy AC's were frankly insane. You lived and died by your weapon load out alone. Bleh. Good luck Beck.

But i dont want ACVD. Actually bought 4 games from PSN $5 deal thing and ACVD wasnt it. Red faction, GTA4, Spec Ops the line, that Midnight losangels of whatever its called (the damn racing game)
I let my sniper rifle bullet to your face do all the talking :P

Shotgun part actually got me a bit upset.
Aside from that tho.
Shotguns provide the best stagger/defense drop, and at a light weight.
Not much can truly out defense a Battle Rifle, howver you can dodge them.
In reality, you can build your AC for paper stats(DPS, defense, Recoil Resistance which counters stagger)
Or you can build an AC for dodging fire and dealing high alpha.
I'm going that way.
