No, no... You misunderstand...
The year we are in is 2014 (at time of writing), whereas you wrote the title of the thread as if it was 2015 or later.
Since it has not happened yet, use of past tense is incorrect. Future tense should be used.
Allow me to get the tense examples from Hawk and Yolo's writing guide (for the intrepid mind)
Hawkeye and Yolo Mc Swaggin's writing guide (for the intrepid mind) wrote:

Examples:
Past tense: I did this.
