Quiters will quit, Haters will hate, and the some will stick around and have fun. Let-¦s have some feedback on what we want to improve the game.
(Topic subject to edition as new ideas pop in)
- Open Map Capping the number of people in a location restricts the use of a barbarian horde to overwelm a tecnical superior opponent, and instanced battles should be restricted to tournaments/practice, no the real thing. I do want to wait until dark to kick an opponents flag while he-¦s asleep.
- Contracts If you want a quickie, go for a contract. NPC ones will always be available like missions, you can either go PVE or PVP against a different NPC team. This give options to those that just want a quick play, and serve as well for those interested in planetary conquest as a "temp blue" team. (Friendly/Hostile can be overrided by the Commander mode on the field)
- Restriction of deployment Warbarge in place should be a must for deployment. This makes high-sec, faction warfare low-sec and NPC NULL "newbie friendly missions" available trough NPC warbarges, and if people want to go non-NPC low / npc null, they need capsuleers for that. This brings balance to those that just want a quickie and dont want to worry about mission availability and those that want to go deep in PVP and planetary conquest.
- Restriction of logistics Sometimes i don-¦t have the item that i want on the systems market and have to jump 6 systems to get it in EVE. Legion should be no different. Items must be stocked (and therefore subject to steal/destruction) on the planetary bases (armory), on the warbarge (RDV delivered) or the planet system station (space elevator). Things already on the plannet have immediate access, while transporting stuff trough elevator should take time to be automatically delivered. This helps the defenders, but who said sieging was easy? You can sabotage the delivery routes, you can capture the station and forbid items of going down, and you can take down the defender warbarge, leaving the defenders spending their resources until they perish by themselves.
- Commander Mode RTS with real players, some basic clickable instructions like League of Legends (Target - Heading there - Retreat - Danger - Marking a Location) for visual support of units on ground, and managing the resources to be deployed in battle (Vehicles, ammo drops, dropships with reinforcments, orbital strike locations). The regular map screen, but with enchanced commands for the role. Also removes the "blue" status of troops, marking them as hostile and revoking acess to the clone vat of that team and further respanws.
- Farms and field If people want to secure a location, they must spend money and resources to defend it. Turrets, Drones, Fortifications and of course, players. If someone relies too much on automated defenses, those can be disabled by hackers and a good blops team (or several orbital strikes). If they want to use people, do they secure clone bays for a quick response (low-maintance / hackeable) or do they have deployed grunts in the quarters? (Spending human resources patroling an area instead of conquering more).
We CAN have a casual audience playing instanced PVE and PVP battles, AND a hardcore group involved in serious business, we just need to give the proper tools for them to play. RIght now, everything is mixed and stomping the newbies it-¦s not good for the business model, but you can balance the casual fun gameplay with the hardships of being backstabbed even in a NPC mission.
More to come as ideas/feedback come up. |

Contracts should absolutely be part of the sandbox and not be instanced or tiered. Have some kind of "Arena" or "Gladiator" mode where people can just jump into instanced matches to get moment-to-moment gameplay and get on leaderboards and hold tournaments.

Agent Contract Player Contracts Arena
Agent Contracts Type: PvE, PvP, Location: High, Low, Null
Those are contracts that seek players looking for casual fun, and always available. The NPC-¦s provide the Warbarge at the location, so no transportation is needed (Jump Clone). Can be single or multiplayer. Matchmaking system or Invite to session from friends Corporation and Faction wide contract. The more you grow within one, better missions unlock. (Like EVE). Low and Null missions unlock after [Insert Conditions] or are readily available trough invite from other players. Typical objectives (Hold position for X time, Kill Y enemies, Deplete clone/drone reserve, Capture Z for n time etc)
Game modes can go from typical mission to actual pvp training (Protect a stronghold from an invanding group, use the stronghold defenses that you like, as long as you pay for them and practice a siege that will be the same mechanic used in an actual siege in case you go for player contracts). Factional warfare contracts could be the gateway for the PvP taining, and the introduction to persistency
This gives replay value, captures a large audience and stimulate group formation to go at the harder missions (something like a Raid in WoW) or simply to have acess to missions (my recently created character can run a mission that my veteran friend picked).
Arena Type: PvP Only Location: High, Low, Null
Typical Ambush mode, straight foward pew pew. The security location of the contract tells what type of reinforcements you can bring (High sec = pew pew and vehicles only / Low-sec = Orbital Strikes / Null = Orbital Strike + Your own turrets drones and whatever you can afford)
Player Contracts
Type: PvE, PvP Location: High, Low, Null
Those are the sandbox contracts for the hardcore players. Conquer a Starbase, Customs Office, a District or simply forming a group to clear a district from drones so you can build your Planetary Interface in your 0.0 system. All the costs associated with the contract are player payed (Warbarge, Clone Bay, Planetary defenses, etc) . PI, PoCO, PoS will be regular targets, wardecs will bring action to High-Sec and carebears. Can make custom Arena Contracts.

By the way, please give your feedback on what would you like to have in the game besides the pew pew in the face we currently have. |

I'd love to have some sort of exploration. Also, I'd like to be able to just drop onto a planet and do whatever the **** I want.
There should also be hubs on the planet with varying sizes (a popular Hisec district might have a large city, a isolated district in losec might have a small wild west-type town, and a hostile part of nullsec might have a military base, etc.). Those would be the stations planetside, so you don't have to go back to space to restock.

Who would supply the hubs? How the things would be transported/manufactured?
EVE works on a player based economy, Legion will probably follow these steps |

I forgot to make a very important question:
Logibro, are any of those topics on the big plan for the future, or the ideia is an improved shoot in the face fps? |
