In one more year, they would have been forced by necessity to move to a new platform. Would you have demanded a refund then, too? Even though they offered you a goddamn character and asset transfer? What's the difference?

Legion is not dust is it?No, as CCP has said they are seperate games. I think most people expected Dust to continue across platforms, not for it to run forever on the PS3. Actually that is WHAT WAS IMPLIED.
You are trying to equate CCP killing dust and replacing it with legion to legion just being dust. It isn't, all of your BPOs will be gone, your officer weapons, most likely your isk and even possibly large chunks of your SP.
How about you wake up and face reality? CCP Killed Dust, Legion is an entirely different game, therefore they are liars and have purposefully deceived us.
Actually I am quite embarrassed for you, that is of course assuming you are not a CCP alt (you probably are, no one is this much of a corporate shill)

See that sounds great until you realize that that investment was gotten under false pretenses. Dust had a ten year plan, CCP were laser focused, we were getting PVE, more weapons/vehicles/maps, a player market... you know, all of he stuff was promised.
Friday CCP announced that all of their prior promises were lies, and had been for quite some time. They showed how Dust will no longer get most of what was promised, and only minor updates whenever. They showed how Legion is a completely new game separate from Dust and their new focus.

So everyone knew MAG was dead for about 1 year before they actually pulled the plug. The developers for MAG did not send out "newsletters" advertising the purchase of in-game items within days of pretty much announcing the end of the game. I do not remember the MAG developers promoting the game for 6 months while they planned on killing it. They sure as hell didn't invite players of a dead game to spend thousands of dollars to fly to their backwards country in order to get kicked in the balls.
