Spoke with the dust 514 art team; they're trying things out but the work and tech is seperate from what eve is doing unfourtunately.
I also spoke with CCP Z on customization was a purchasable and he agrees completely it is sometihng needed.

There are couple hundred liberating things you can get when you step out of the 256 mb box and move onto a 8 gig unshared machine. where most video cards are 256 mbs to a gig these days.

I like the estimated time table for Legion because it gives me just enough time to get my **** in order and upgrade my rig, which I've been meaning to do for some time now. I was planning to do it for Star Citizen, but doing it a bit earlier for Legion suits me plenty fine.
I don't know the tables; best ask ccp for those. Every time I heard it; it changed and there is room for it to change again.
