This has to be a troll, a subscription based system is a rip off. You pay more for a game in 3 months than you would outright purchasing it.

I've been playing EVE for about 6 weeks now. Its actually a lot more interesting and fun that I thought it would be. I won't post my IGN on here though.

Eve Online is worth the subscription if you're into that sort of game. The amount of work that goes into it, along with the sheer complexity of all the different components and forms of gameplay, along with simply maintaining such a complex server to support a game like that is just insane.
I don't like Eve, but it's not a rip off. |

I cant support a game company that cant even port there game.lol CCP has proven themselves to be way out of there league and any product they make will be a joke.
Case in point it took them 10 years to get EVE to where it is today. I dont have that kind of time or gonna pay a sub based game that dev's on such a slow time line

I've played EVE for six years. Been taking a break from it for almost a year though, most of that time playing Dust.
During my six years CCP only let me down twice. The incarna debacle, which CCP rectified very quickly and now this Dust disaster. Even still EVE is an amazing game and I will probably start playing it more now.
I loved Dust and wished it could have reached the level of epicness we all wanted. Hopefully Legion will culminate into the game we all want to play.
I just hope CCP gets the lead out of their ass and delivers Legion faster than "soon."

And EVE had been good for all of those years. That's why it's got a solid, growing player base. It's not like they finally unfucked it this year after 10 years of terrible game. It's a lot better than it's ever been now, but it was not a bad game before. They keep making it better. |

fact is it had to go to PC the PS3 cannot handle any more than a match shooter. mag was an exception in the fact they forfeited texture art for more players and had a very poor vehicle play system.
facing the facts looking back on dust it had every kind of problem there were so many things that just like SOE with star wars galaxy the game had come to a point where so much was wrong there was no where to go. it's there fault tho for being so over ambitious with their concept blogs and speeches, and broke some major dev taboos like over promising conceptual stuff before it could even become an alpha test state. that's a huge mistake in development they should have learned that from fable 1.
and they basically swore their allegiance to dedicating dust to the PS3 is where they fuctup at. also they released a marathon of events it's like they knew people were gonna be pist off and quit so they threw all those final events to try to get as much money as they could before dropping the ball on us. thats shiesty as sht but in order for dust go anywhere it was destined for PC which for whatever reason they swore against this whole time until now. |

CCp cant take credit for what makes EVE online great and that is the players and player driven history. What players do ....not the game.

Been playing EVE since 2007, though the last few have been sporadic. I did cancel my sub so as to make up for my dust losses though. Maybe after that I'll un-shutter my industry and start printing isk again.
Your game f'ing sucks, but I'll still play it.... damn you!
