It was not necessarily a present per say but... It was reassuring knowing our progression here was not for nothing. It will be migrated over. I think most people knew PS3 would only last so long and does have limits. I was one of the Eve pilots asking for it to be on PC to begin with. I even bought a PS3 just for this game and have not played much else on it. I use it to watch movies if anything other than Dust. Have fun while we are here. I just hope they learn from the lessons from the joke that is PC at this time. I actually hope and think Project Legion will be better than dust ever was. |

Obviously PS3 would not be the home forever.
I was foolishly under the impression that CCP would not royally f*ck us over, and that they would actually move Dust to PS4.

That has not been ruled out. There has been mention of both PS4 and PC. |

Isn't the whole move to pc CCP kinda saying "oh, you misunderstand, we are not going to take a massive **** on you right now but you should probably prepare yourself for the massive **** we're going to take on later on..."
Now I'm not saying I'm a badass, but once I killed a guy in militia gear. We were both wearing it but still.

I think CCP went into to many different directions and once and realize it now. I do think they wanted to get into the console game business and are after the console gamers but it has not made the windfall they thought it would. I am just happy its not all being scraped like some other CCP projects have been. Migration could be a good thing. |

Please be realistic.
Legion is not going to be straight "port" of Dust. You are insane if you think CCP isn't going to engage in radical redesign to fix many of the most broken aspects of Dust. So much of your assets or SP will have no correlation to Legion.
Not to mention they aren't going to allow a wholesale economic pollution of their new game with broken funds from Dust.
A transfer may be as little a transfer of your character name once all is said and done.
Finally, Legion is at least 2 years or more away from release. Are you going to afk in the MCC FOR 2 years once 2/3 of the player base leaves Dust? |

SP is only a number, so that's plenty easy to port.
Assets. I'm 100% ok with a full asset wipe moving onto Legion, aside from AUR. AUR items need to be reverted to AUR, and all unspent AUR also needs to carry over.
As far as being 2 years out, so long as the closed beta arrives in about a year, I'm happy. I won't even be afking in lolDUST, I just won't be playing ^_^

The only mention the ps4 has gotten (As far as I know) is that they are NOT currently working on the ps4 version only the pc version. Also CCP said they do not know whether they are going to be porting it over to ps4 or not. |

I realize there will be some changes but Sp is only a number and pretty simple. teh assets are a bigger variable that I am sure they can figure out. The name of our Mercs will not be the only thing migrated. Have you watched CCP presents?
