Two years and a half years ago i was a Battlefield 3 player, and heard about this amazing game called Dust 514 thought the PlayStation Home, The moment i saw the reveal trailer i was hooked and i had gotten my Beta key the day of E3 and was in game the next week, It was addicting the concept they had and the ideas of what could be were alluring to anyone who pretty much just played nothing buy lobby shooters.
broken sh!t -promises
In a game forged around broken mechanics and a player base with EGO problems things are bound to go wrong and people are going to get pissed and leave, something that we have been seeing since an unnamed alliance or two learned how to lock out what i will refer to as "End game content or EGC". A few months later 1 alliance had control off our EGC and could run the best gear all day everyday, the majority of the player base begged for this to be fixed but was blatantly ignored by CCP...We we're left with a game with broken mechanics and no hope in sight, at this point most players have lost all hope in CCP and are wondering if they are going to go screw up everything worse then it already was.
And with our unnamed alliance Sh!t stomping 24/7 and new player would swiftly delete Dust 514 as quick as he or she downloaded it, it is that the kept our game that we loved from growing and with no new content on the horizon the core player base moved on, and with every patch nothing new came for a year and a half until just this year when we got racial diversity in all classes of suits and weapons. Alas it was to late and the game had diminished in size... but the lies flowed out of CCP like a river
The dark ages-filthy deceit
In the months leading up to fanfest all was quiet, we heard nothing and saw nothing but deep down we all hoped it meant something Great was coming.

Many Dust players went to Fan fest this year, Not a cheap trip could cost anywhere from 3 to 5000.00 USD for the whole kit and caboodle, And they were willing to shell out the cash to fly to the edge of the arctic circle to hear the developers of a game they love,
But they lied....Lied about there motives and fell through on promises, and in a move i can only imagine in a bad B movie, CCP ushered a few hundred eager dust players into a room and proceeded to say "fuk you, fuk you fuk you" I can only imagine it like a mass execution... The disappointment i could fell through the Live stream was enough to make me outright delete Dust and Eve from my PS3 and PC,
Now i am completely fine with Dust "eve legion LOL" going to PC, I am completely fine with that...
BUT FOR **** SAKES YOU DON'T LIE ABOUT WHAT THE **** YOU ARE GOING TO PRESENT! ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COST A FEW THOUSAND DOLLARS TO GO TO FANFEST!
WHO THE HELL IS IN CHARGE OF YOUR PR? A GOD DAMN MONKEY?
ALL FANFEST YOU HAVE BEEN SHADY AS ****, YOU TOLD PEOPLE YOU WE'RE PRESENTING D U S T 5 1 4 THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO WENT TO FANFEST FOR D U S T 5 1 4 AND YOU TOLD THEM TO GO FUK THEM SELVES, AND SHOWED THEM **** THEY DIDN'T WANT TO SEE!
IF WHAT PEOPLE SAY IS TRUE AND YOU HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THIS FOR 6-7 MONTHS, YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN ******* HONEST FROM THE START! DON'T LIE ABOUT IT! ...
But i digress...
you should have come out at fan fest at the key note and said "this is what we are doing and here is why, I am sorry"
But you opted to cull off your loyal player base....
I own a PC more then capable of playing legion, and i will not look at it nor ANY CCP product ever, just because of this Stunt, there are many more like me who wont touch CCP stuff with a 30 foot pole after this.
At the end of the day ccp...you are screwed, you had loyal players who followed you to hell and back but now you had 4000 pissed of gamers that want nothing more then your blood.
I hope you see the errors in your ways.
