Last time I checked they've just said they weren't going to do the thing they promised would be in the game a year ago. Did we not have even in it's incomplete state? Do you honestly think we can't have fun playing what we have now?

you do know the majority of the playerbase only stuck around in case we got the good stuff right? CCP has pretty much said all we are going to get is aurum packs and server patches.

if you are willing to continue to play a game with a ten year development plan that was shitcanned 10 months after launch, feel free.

'Fun' is the lobby shooter aspect that will persist.
The forum community is your dedicated players who were driven by the deeper dream of what Dust was supposed to be.
We're going through the stages of grief on that. Some still stuck in rage, some moving on to acceptance and renewed hope.

People pick up a game, become proficient, get bored, find another game. Dust was different because the new content and active balancing, or at least the promise of such things, staved off boredom for most as well as the unified vision of what Dust was trying to become. So even on the weeks that it was a chore to grind out the cap, you still did it.
Knowing that Legion is slated to receive all the love, it's hard to get excited about grinding more matches with the same suits, same bad matchmaking, same maps, etc.
From how they're describing it, vets WILL get transferred, but the benefit of all the hours dedicated to Dust will be for naught.
Today is the sort of day where the sun only comes up to humiliate you.
