Rest assured, the lawyers at CCP told Rogue EXACTLY how much effort he has to put into Dust in order to fulfill his contracts. That's why we will still get bug fixes for the next 6 months. Wrong, you aren't getting your money back for abandonment. You're getting it back for fraud. You need to learn where you're getting screwed, buddy. You bought AUR on false promises. Call back and ask for a refund.

Was calling in reference to my PS4 not connecting to PSN (result, PSN is down for PS4 currently, they're trying to resolve it), and then asked for a refund. Now remember, I was speaking to someone is PS4 Networking and as soon as I brought up a refund for DUST 514 he was like I already know, CCP isn't abandoning PS3, no refund, click. That's a very ambigious term that means different things to Sony than it does to us. This is definitely going to take more than a simple phone call to push through, because it's a deeper issue. It's about how players have been mislead into purchasing AUR, thinking that it would persist in the New Eden universe. If CCP just comes out and says that character progress will transfer to Legion, then at least for PC players, it's ok. But what about playstation only players? What happens to them? Why keep their purchases when they officially mean nothing? No one will take DUST seriously now, not in New Eden anyways. It may still exist, but it has no future. DUST is DEAD Quit?

Technically the point that the aurum is made CCP has your money. Just that any time they have to give aurum back counts against the budget because when it does get spent later on its helping justify and allocate funds for the projects that spurred them. A case in point in eve, buying plex goes to ccps wallet but spending it on ship paint justifies spending development on ship paint. Thus refunding it at a dust 514 level while CCP gets money from Sony per sale Sony cant really get refunds back from most third parties because of international monetary laws making it more expensive. I mean if you paid for it with your credit card for example. It is your credit card company that takes the hit and not Sony. Credit card company could then penalize Sony for refunds. This is one common rmt scam companies wage against most MMOs causing nearly millions in USD damage a year. Its complicated.
