Carbon seems like something you'll have much more control over in terms of breaking limitations. Carbon is not a graphics engine, current Dust uses Carbon. Also Trinity with Ambulation isn't optimised for FPS games and would melt your PC with double Titan cards.
Well it's the UE3 engine being used for dust.
As for carbon not being a graphics engine....Pray tell me what eve online has been using for 10 years now?
As for the OP, there are no questions that weren't already answered. Dust is not getting any more content developed, we aren't getting any sort of refund, and we got shafted. Done. |

There are no more future builds.

Why do people keep wanting to know already answered questions.
They said they don't know whether or not it's possible due to a few issues, like Sony being in the way.
A transfer may, or may not happen. CCP'S classic safety response. |

They are separate games. No interaction. Completely different mechanics being developed in both, how would they coexist? |

Really now?
I wasn't aware I could hop on Dust and start playing with my EVE friends as they go pirate hunting.
Guess I didnt get the memo.

I actually thought of a question.
What made them feel the right path was to create events where buying boosters was literally encouraged by the developers on the forums, knowing full well they planned to halt any new developments for dust? |

I wasn't aware I could hop on Dust and start playing with my EVE friends as they go pirate hunting. Guess I didnt get the memo. Join faction warfare.. We have command of some nice Eve fleets in some of our Hellstorm programs. It's fun for both sides Eve and Dust. CCP gave us the option and we embraced it and made great friends doing so. Just the bar for entry in this kind of gameplay was to high so I think they are going to scrap it for Legion.
That has nothing to do with me getting on Dust, and playing with my EVE friends in their environment.
My response was made because the previous poster did not realize the context of the statement was Dust and Legion coexisting in a manner of being able to "play together".
The fact that there is a "tie" between EVE and Dust is entirely irrelevant to my original statement, since you are literally unable play together while on the separate games with said "ties". Hence my statement saying they cannot coexist.
