This game has not been a joy to play, it has been a burden to invest in.
These two things will do the most good for you right now. Putting it on PC at all was a mistake because you've now opened the doors of a F2P shooter to hackers which compromises the integrity of the games competitive nature permanently. But you made promises to the PC crowd and it's too late to turn back. Now you need to fulfill the promises to the console crowd you made two years ago. Anything less is pure disrespect.
I have no idea why you guys think that CCP would want to port Legion to the PS4. On PC they have complete control. On PS4 they have to answer to Sony. Consoles aren't the cash cows they used to be. Honestly, it's more likely that it'd come to Android in a few years, and that's a pretty low likelihood. |

They haven't designed anything in regards to the progression system yet. If they were going to build it around the ability to transfer over stats from Dust, now is literally the only time they could feasibly do it. CCP is not going to jump through all the Sony hoops again just to satisfy you Sony fanboys. It makes no financial sense. Also, every day that goes by puts the PS4 one more day behind the PC in terms of performance and flexibility. Think about it.

This argument is being made because it's the right thing to do. It has nothing to do with favoritism towards anything.
There are things in life that need to be done sometimes even when they don't make perfect financial sense. And if that isn't good enough for you, how do you think a negative media shitstorm does for finances? After all, Incarna made perfect financial sense. Wait, how did that turn out?
Going to PC is the right move. PS4? Not so much.
It isn't the right thing. If you want to play Legion, buy a PC that costs the same as the PS4 and paint Sony on the side if it makes you feel better.
Sony has been part of the problem.
Also, the right thing to do is to keep the company afloat. On the "goody two shoes, feel warm and fluffy" meter, I think keeping the hundreds of CCP employees paid is far more important that satisfying the egos of a bunch of over entitled console crybabies. I guess that's just me though :) |
