And you can't upgrade consoles.
oops ment 9 years stil!! also systems can be upgraded with different hard drives, ex, I have a 120 gg ssdd. stationary harddrive if yeah haven't heard of that. |

PCs will continue to sit on top. But you don't realize that the market for FPS is in consoles which they sell 10 times as many as pc does. So yeah CCP ******!! and your dumb to believe this game will succeed on pc.
All CCP has to do to succeed on PC is to get more than about 3000 concurrent players (their current PS3 playerbase). I'm pretty sure that the PC market will support that.
I suppose though, that CCP should probably hire you as their financial adviser because, you know, you understand market forces so well. |

Only for CoD, Titanfall and BF4. Mid-tier games with limited marketing budget, especially F2P games, do better on PC. During peak time there are more people playing CS:GO on PC than there are people playing BF4 on all consoles combined.

PS4 F2P market is still tiny compared to PC. Look at the Warframe numbers. |

So the question really comes down to the vision of DUST, and part of that is taken from the vision of EVE. Can that vision be achieved on a console, with a consoles limitations (controls, patching, relying on a 3rd party)?
I don't think it can, but even if it can, I think the costs and difficulty would be reason enough not to bother. I'm really not expecting to see DUST on the PS4.

I'm going by this Warframe statistics post, PS4 numbers are in the minority. They're not bad numbers I'm sure, but they don't even approach PC. For F2P games there's no better place to be than PC, which is likely why they chose PC over PS4. DFC also backs this up. |

Igree with you, on PC members more than on the PS4, but, warframe on PC have many members becouse this game start on PC two years ago, on PS4 only from october/november 2013. And on PC version warframe members age about 10-20 years, but on PS4 15-40 years old. This is realy seriusly fact. |

Considering a hard drive swap a console upgrade is fairly funny. You probably did see some marginal improvements... However you can't change anything else about the console. You cant change the graphics card, the ram or really anything that will truly matter when it comes to processing power. A great many people will never consider a hard drive swap to be a console upgrade. |

This is a troll right? CCP is going to be a PC only company, there are already widespread "rumors" that Valkyrie is going to jump to PC and CCP is going to bring all projects to PC and under same project called unity. |
