I'd say number of players has halved and yes, 40k is the total online in TQ server (Dust + EVE population)

Just to clarify how shady CCP tactics are, and I called it out back then: The number displayed used to show ONLY Dust players online. When numbers started to drop significantly because players where quitting for various reasons, CCP decided to change it to reflect both eve and dust player counts so they could hide the fact that player count was steadily dropping. That is just one drop of the bs I've put up for over two years in this fracking game. Got a ps4 now, about time to wash my mouth with some upcoming titles like planetside2 and destiny. Funny thing is the more I learn about destiny the more I realize it looks like what we should had receive with dust, 10 year plan, eventual player market, pve and pvp... lol, the only difference in vision, is that bungie will actually deliver and are known to deliver. CCP is known for fracking their customers over. You can keep your chinese shiste of a game, there are hundred of better games and developpers over. The space sim genra is getting a massive revival with games such as star citizens being developped, I can't wait to see CCP slowly loose all but their dire fans in a pathetic attempt to provide an archaic game. See this people? over two years of bottled up frustration right there.

After thinking it over, I quit. I'm waiting to biomass until the 14th for one last hoo-rah. Will update when that happens.
My original char Eriknaught is getting biomassed once I get home from work. My girlfriend Kam L Tow quits, she hasn't decided if she's going to biomass yet or not.
I was a Medic, Assault, Commando specialist. I ran a Scout & Sentinel for fun.
I was a Minmatar Loyalist.
