Please take some time to call this number. You don't have to do it now but know that every person that calls this number can maybe support SONY and help right this wrong CCP has done against us Sony customers. 1-800-345-SONY All you gotta do is press 2 than 2. I suggest doing this when you have some free time as there should be a queue. All you have to do is be professional and honest. Explain that you have put so much time and maybe even cash into this game (helps really well if it was recently) only to have them announce today that they will be abandoning you within a year or two. Explain yes you have a little more time to play the game but what is the point. If you have made purchases within 90 days or hell if you want to look through your entire history and mark down all dates you have purchased Aur you can do that. Explain that you just feel used. CCP fed you sweet honey words and told you about 10 year plans and POTENTIAL and COMMUNITY support only to have them laugh and attempt to get away with your money. CCP has wasted our time and some of us have taken our money. The time we need to stand up together as a real COMMUNITY is now. In the past I must admit I have said this community is pathetic, I have had no faith in CCP from the get go but that doesn't make anything I am saying now mute. It is simply a PS3 customer calling out for help out of desperation from fellow peers and other PS3 customers who also feel wrong. I honestly believe if enough of us get behind this rally we can get SONY's attention to maybe push for action against CCP in our name. If you choose to laugh or not support that is fine as I cannot force you but for those who will stand with me and push back a company who has clearly bullied us for so long than stand with me, make the call! UNITE! We have the right to be heard as customers. The customer is supposed to always be right, we aren't supposed to be screwed over, lied to, and robbed. HELP ME!

At the same time that being said, there's ways to do things and there's ways not to. The way CCP did this was dirty and you cannot deny that fact with a straight face. All these 50% off buy this buy that. All these promises of a 10 year plan. All these false hopes. Even you can see it's not the way you handle things. I don't blame CCP for wanting to cut ties with the community but they just crapped over not the Dust514 PS3 community but console gamers as a whole. Sure that may make you guys who hate consoles smirk and laugh but we are human as well and deserve a little dignity here.

We keep forgetting that here. You acting like the community been saints throughout the development of Dust. They have been VERY toxic in its treatment of the developers and even its own community. The majority of console gamers are self entitled brats who somehow think the world should bend to their wills. We had a chance to make this special. Instead we choose to call this game a POS instead of constructively helping Dust and CCP realize the potential of it. It's no different than a relationship. After all, we weren't forced to purchase anything (although we were enticed). And while I do agree that the community was toxic, it could have easily been turned around with proper moderating. A forum lives or dies by its moderators. Either way though, this is a sad way to see dust go. I'm keeping my characters to play a couple of games here or there with friends, but I'm going to start to look around for something new (maybe Destiny) and try to finish the backlog of games I have sitting next to my tv (starting with Venetica). Thale groupie (not the gun, but the man). My other car is Utena.

You two just added yourselves to that toxic list. The same thing happened in EVE. Stop being so high and mighty. Some people will be such sheep won't they. I'm not a selfish brat. I'm a 40 something that invested my support into this game albeit with much reservation. We are talking about a business that has tripped up on their PR and has taken part in bad business practices. Money is involved in this and continues to be involved in this because this product is still out there and new players who don't know what is going on could still spend money on this end of lifed product. Sony has a responsibility to nip this in the bud. It can come back on them for providing the services. This is usually the thing that would cause investors to pull out due to eroded consumer confidence and damage to the ability for the present product to continue a valid revenue stream or the future product to succeed. This is of course if CCP was a publicly traded company. Since they are not we should all learn a valuable lesson form this GÇô CCP can and will screw over its customer base at its pleasure. They are two and 0 right now for games other than EVE. You think they'll do any differently with Valkyrie and Legion? What are you willing to bet for that? Lol, you can't ban me forever CCP!

Than I wake up and think for myself. CCP went on for quite sometime leading customers on that the game had a future DUST 514 had a future. That it had a 10 year plan (not 1 year plan) It's not the fact they are moving on or whatever. It's the fact they lied their asses off to the customers to bait them in and give them empty promises to milk their wallets. That is just cold, now you wanna continue supporting the same company who has clearly demonstrated it's community and fanbase mean nothing to them? Have fun with that.
