Hey guys, I felt I couldn't elucidate well enough through text my feeling on the current and future state of Dust and Legion, so I recorded a commentary. It's a bit long, (and it might have a teeny bit of rambling at the end) but I hope you'll find the time to consider listening to it.

Very articulate.
Why did they not broadcast the Round Table? They left us with nothing but panic and confusion. I felt like I was punched in the gut. We needed our questions answered!

Thx for this bro, more people should see/listen to this! I agree with you a 100%... It is sad what happened, but failure is a painful experience.
Your post is a bright spot in the sea of "red mist internet rage". All that witch hunting mob mentality happening right now is more depressing the the keynote itself

Yeah, it was a fairly sudden urge to do this, (and the poor quality from it being ad-libbed is killing me tbqh) but I wanted to get this out there.
I guess a good TL;DR is, damnit it sucks what happened, but more than me wanting Dust 514 to succeed, I want the idea behind it to succeed, and if it requires a move to PC, then best of luck to CCP.

Yeah me too. The problem is that this has already turned into a PR disaster and no amount of positive or rational voices can changed that. Its turned into a mindless mob. Still its great what you did.

Pretty much agree to everything you say.
I was also like WTF... Chock, confusion the lot.
I also bought into the dream that was mercs on the ground in new Eden, and I still stand by this dream, whether it's Dust 514 or Legion, and I want to see Legion succeed.
Now when "the dust settles", let's move ahead and make sure CCP don't paint themself into a corner with Legion like they did with Dust 514. Hopefully they get the go-ahead soon. |

Unfortunately, to compound on top of the entry cost of a new computer and a subscription fee, I just got fired, so any plans for that just got pushed back a bit more...
Here's hoping the VO jobs pick up.
Also, thanks conejo, made that a while back for a dust music event. Like I said, I was invested in this game.

99% my feeling and thoughts as well on all aspects in the audio bit. I however am less optimistic about future Dust updates. We might see some guns so they can use Dust as a live test service to balance the project. I highly doubt we see any new maps or sockets. And honestly the faster they can develop the new game the faster they can rip off this Brazilian wax that is 514.
Dust 514 Is dead to me. Urghh But I am still playing it. And look forward to 3 more years of SoonTM on PC.
