Dear New Eden Mercenaries,
We are all well aware of the 'Dust Keynote' outfall and speculation. I am as shocked and confused as anyone. However, in this ensuing chaos, I will make the following statement on behalf of my Corporation and my greater alliance.
The Southern Legion will remain here in New Eden as a hybrid corporation across all EVE universe games.
We will continue our EVE-side operations as planned.
Valkyrie will be looked into and explored if the interested numbers are there.
We aim to migrate to Legion for all of those that are capable and have not lost their confidence in CCP to deliver an enjoyable FPS experience.
The Final Resolution. Alliance will continue to focus as an 0900 EVE time active entity, also across all three games, being a natural home to Oceanic and Asian players.
If you intend to remain here and are looking for a solid, stable group to join you are all most welcome to take shelter from the storm with us. We look to what the future holds together, whether that mean death for us all or glorious rebirth.
It is understandably an emotional and turbulent road ahead, the keynote was quite a blow to all of us that have stood strong here for the past 15 or more months.
Here is hoping at least our character names and SP can be transferred as part of this 'franchise reimagining'.
For those that are determined to leave, I salute thee, it has been an absolute pleasure fighting with you.

You do know that the franchise reimagine isn't a problem. Neither is bringing the game to another platform if that's necessary to accomplish that vision.
The problem here is that CCP seems to be more than likely to scam us out of our time and real money invested into Dust because apparently it won't carry over.

I will not presume to make excuses for events beyond my control.

The legion is a really great group of guys. Been playing MMOs for 15 years or so, and rarely do you find a group as fun and grounded as these guys. We play other games together, so even if I leave dust forever today (not likely,) im sure my friendships with these guys will remain.
To the rest of the community, I have trolled and flamed just as much as the next, but i would be glad to get to know even those Ive had heated debates with. Lets be honest with each other, the community is all dust has left. And for how much longer?
Yeah, i run an Amarr logi with a mass driver.. what are YOU going to do about it?

LOI was left in good steed on our departure to form our own Alliance recently, we have you all in our channels still and set blue.
We have much respect now, and forever for the Alliance that gave us the biggest ass whooping I believe Dust has ever had the pleasure of seeing.
But props to The Legion for manning over 120 battles grinding the frontline of the great ROFL Vs. League of Infamy War.
