He is expressing exactly what 90% of the community feels right now. We feel like you have just executed every single dust player in Iceland right now. Let me tell an analogy that sums up what's going on. Player bob has just got a new job, it's a good job, he's happy and likes it. His boss (CCP) dangles that carrot of promotion in front of him for 15+ months and then says " you know what bob, I have a uprise for you, some to my office (iceland) and I'll show you". Now bob, the loyal hardworking worker, thinks it's a promotion as hinted at by his boss for 15 months. He's happy, tells his family,about it and is happy because now he can buy that house he wants to. He shows up to his boss's office ecstatic. Takes 3 steps in the door and hears "you're fired"
Not fully accurate.
He walks in the door and is told Patrick is getting that promotion. Meanwhile, Bob still has his job, but, he no longer has power in his office.

Thorough makes no sense if you read it. I gave two corrections. The simple one was the first one, and the easiest mistake to make. The second, and the one he meant, required leaving a word out, not an autocorrect flub. Without the word 'after' it just doesn't jive very well.
