CCP Frame wrote:This thread is now back to its unlocked state due to requests from players and CPM because of the sentiment it demonstrates amongst some players within the community.
However, the initial lock was decided upon thorough investigation, we wanted to meet with the player, talk in person, but we were not able to locate any evidence that this player was indeed here and attending Fanfest.
I don't think that even matters.
The simple fact that this could be a true story should be enough for everyone at CCP to be ashamed of themselves.

So the fact that I COULD murder someone makes me automatically guilty of doing so. Good lord, reason is so rare
Irony. Learn it.
You're talking about a hypothetical wrongdoing. I'm talking about a hypothetical victim of an actual wrongdoing.
Just like "what if there had been someone in there" is a valid criticism of someone who threw a rock through a window.

What is this irony too? Ill just take you seriously for a moment, so that I can actually respond without just furthering a joke. What is the actual wrongdoing here? I still dont understand. Has anyone died? Has some contract been violated? Serious question btw ... I really didnt read the EULAs ... I understand that some are pissed because they bought in on a dream or so one reads. But who buys a dream for 1000 dollars and demands it coming true? This is not funding a game in kickstarter, this is buying boosters and items in a F2P game. What has been wrong or ambiguous about that? The craze seems just naive to me on so many levels. Please explain the actual damage to me, besides bad PR to a developer?
Oh not another EULA cheerleader.
