So wouldn't ccp hiding the fact that putting ps3 dust into stasis and not telling us being fraud? They continued as though nothing has changed and continued to promote dust in ps3 store and with marketing/community events. CCP didn't lie but fraud via omission of information is common issues especially in publicly traded companies. I'm not a lawyer but my ******* hurts for some odd reason.

CCP was telling players they were working on Dust 514, but they were spending their resources from PSN sales on Project Legion and once they got enough resources they would just leave Dust 514 in the shadows. Players were being misguided about the future of their investment and the CPM was an accomplice in this crime.

Project Legion is a different game, meaning nothing you do in Dust 514 will port to it.

I'm asking a serious question. I chatted with my lawyer buddy and he said that is sounds like fraud in the inducement because they kept selling stuff as nothing has changed. He also said that that any EULA can't protect ccp from that hence why he thinks PSN is giving refunds.
Said all you had to do is get stuff via discovery to when ccp and or sony knew about this and either or would be liable. Even if they decided like 2 months ago and never stated since that dust would stay alive they continued to market/promote dust as is. Lying via omission is very common fraud claim.
he is laughing at me about it and no all my purchases were more than 3 months ago so i have no easy recourse over it.
Again i am NOT a lawyer just pinging my buddy on skpye about it this is what his said immediately(but he is sue happy guy so eh)

No, what we're saying is that DUST 514 is DUST 514. Legion or whatever it ends up being named doesn't factor into the discussion at all, insofar as DUST is DUST, Legion is Legion.
DUST 514 was advertised up until yesterday (and still kinda is today for everyone in the entire world that hasn't heard of the fanfest fiasco) as a sandbox-styled MMOFPS with continued development, connections to the greater New Eden universe via interaction with the PC MMORPG EVE Online, and expansion of content over time.
What CCP has delivered thus-far is a lobby shooter with some persistent elements and very few, tenuous tie-ins with EVE Online. In fact other than Orbitals in PC and the requirement for an EVE character to run a DUST corp, every tie-in with EVE Online and the New Eden universe at large is just a paint job.
We all purchased aurum and exchanged them for items in DUST 514 as a show of good faith and support on our end toward CCP as incentive for them to turn what DUST is today into what they promised us DUST would become over time.
What we were told TODAY is that not only is DUST 514 not what we were promised (which we all knew) but furthermore that DUST 514 would NEVER become what we were promised. Development toward that end has been abandoned in favor of a "do-over" in the form of Legion.
The discussion over Legion being DUST in a new candy shell, or a sequel to DUST, or the result of a drunken one night stand between DUST and some floozy FPS doesn't matter.
DUST business is DUST business. And CCP has been practicing bad DUST business. Thus the refunds, which you can learn more about here.
CALL 1-800-345-SONY. PRESS '2' AND THEN '2' AGAIN. AURUM PURCHASES CAN BE REFUNDED WITHIN 90 DAYS!
